One scenario making the rounds in Washington is that if John Kerry is elected he'll nominate Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to the US Supreme Court.
There she would judge as a 'law and order feminist' in order to buidl credientials to evetually run for president after Kerry.
Sounds crazy?
Senate and even White House insiders said some moderate and female Republican senators might go for it and OK the cofirmation.

Why do you think she's not likely to win reelection? Who could she face that would get her the boot? Not Giuliani. He'll run for President or Governor before he joins the Senate, I bet. And if he does run against her, why would NY pick a faux-lib over a 100% lib?

Hillary is going to be VP. I predict a 269-296 tie in the electorial college. The House will pick Bush, the Senate, after turning over to the dems will choose the VP and the VP will be Hillary.
If Kerry wins Hillary will be appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. This is the deal that was struck for them not to sabatoge his campaign. There would probably be an effort to change the UN charter to allow Clinton to be Secretary General as well.
With a majority of the house and Senate how would a Hillary get on any bench?
