Speaking of media bias, heres a question you wont hear in our big papers or on network TV: Does Yasser Arafat have AIDS?
We know he has a blood disease that is depressing his immune system. We know that he has suddenly dropped considerable weight possibly as much as 1/3 of all his body weight. We know that he is suffering intermittent mental dysfunction. What does this sound like?
Former Romanian intelligence chief Ion Pacepa tells in his very interesting memoirs that the Ceaucescu regime taped Arafats orgies with his body guards.

I generally don't like to spread gossip, especially without proof. With that disclaimer, I heard John Loftus say this. He said that Arafat was gay and has AIDS. He mentioned Arafat's wife living in Paris and some details about young male company that was otherwise odd for Arafat to keep. He suggested this was one of the reasons the Israelis have not whacked him. If they kill him he's a martyr, if he dies of AIDS he's an Islamic disgrace.
Take it for what it's worth.
Personally I don't care as long as he dies, although a good bit of suffering has some poetry to it.

Actually, A friend of mine used to work at the UN and he told me years ago that Yessir Hairyfat likes little boys, and that most of the delegates were disgusted by him.

My counter parts in London told me that it's commonly believed that 90% of Middle Eastern men when given the opportunity goes for "boys", especially young, light skined, fair hair lads. Apparently their culture is such that "pitching to the other side is acceptable", "catching" is not.

some muslim countries have "man day" on thursday. I know this is the case in Afghanistan and Iraq. I have noticed some homo type comments from the iraqi men I encountered. Supposedly it is acceptable to have relations with men until you are 28. They like to say "you michael jackson?" its their way of finding out if you are guy. at least they know what michael jackson is.

I 've heard that it's across the board for that activity. But if their woman are so ugly they have to be hidden?
Abusing females is common with closet gays.

I doubt he has aids. He could afford the medical cocktail treatment from the million he stole from around the world.

HIV doesn't cause a low platelet countActually ITP is a common manifestation of HIV infection, although it is usually seen early in the course.
Thrombocytopenia in late-stage disease is uncommon.

Heard this morning that he might have been poisoned. Haven't heard anymore though.

Actually, with the stolen millions he could probably have gotten excellent treatment with ANY disease he might have; why just AIDS?
Rumors about Arafat have been around for at least 30 years. I go with the AIDS theory. Ah, the Middle East's Liberace!
To: paudio
One would get the impression he's got every disease known to man, but miraculously he hasn't taken a dirt nap yet.

I'm not even quite sure his doctors know what he has. Next thing you know they'll say he's got Jungle Rot.

It is being reported at this instant that Arafat was poisoned. The blood disorder resembles similar poison related problems.

While listening to the John Batchelor show on Wednesday night, one of his guests John Loftus
mentioned that Arafat had AIDS. He began describing some of the signs of AIDS, in particular how his white blood cell count was very high, an indicator that the immune system is depressed.
His hemoglobin, red blood cell count is way down. Look how ghostly white his hands are. Severe anemia. I think leukemia produces white knuckles too.
