The headline in the Saint Petersburg Times said that Bush was gaining momentum on Kerry when I began to post this thread, then the page became unavailable for a minute, and once I was able to access it again, the headline had changed.

One poll says Kerry is ahead by 1.

Another poll says that it is tied.

And yet, another poll now says that Bush has the momentum.

AGGGGGHHHHHHH! Too many freaken and contradictory polls! Why can't November 2nd come sooner?!

I'd rather pay a toll, stare into the darkness of Hillary's soul, fall into a hole, get shot at from a Grassy Knoll, or eat a mole than read a poll........... at this point.

Have a stiff shot of your favorite booze.

Fark the polls - every last one of them is fatally flawed.

If you didn't see the following, may I suggest you go back and find it. The poster really had a brain dead kerry support on the ropes.

Excellent prose...

btw, I checked over at Kos and surprise, surprise! Kerry is up practically in every poll listed.

You know, I'm convinced that if a brick ran against Bush, these same GOP/Bush haters would be running on the pro-masonry platform - and they'd probably do it with the same amount of passion since it seems to be all anti-Bush as opposed to being pro-Kerry.

I hae trouble showing that most polls shows a trend to Bush in the last 2 weeks, but any news org, including FOX want to trumpet a flash poll showing them tied.

I'm watching the Capital Gang right now, and so far 3 of the analysts are predicting GWB EV's with 300 (Bob), 297(Kate), 281(not sure who said this, I hardley ever watch the show) One of them (Bob) said he thinks GWB will win both OH & FL. There are two dems on of course who say Kerry will win. Does anyone watch this show? Are these people credible? It is 3:18 a.m. and I am still up looking for political shows to watch...come on Tuesday, get here so i can start getting to bed regularly!

Let's hope what happened in Australia happens here. All the polls leading up to their election said that Howard's Liberal Party (Liberals are the conservative down there) are tied with Labor (the left wing in Australia). Instead, it was a complete blow out by the Liberals, sending one of Bush's best allies, back for another term. So much for MSM polls down there. Hope the same is true here in the states.

"The president - who throughout the campaign has sought to deflect voter concerns about the war in Iraq, his handling of the economy and his job performance overall by fueling fears about terrorism - continued that theme."

Another AP hit piece disguised as "news."

Yeah, and then they follow with this comment about Kerry:

"...the decorated Vietnam War veteran pledged anew to "destroy, capture, kill Osama bin Laden and all of the terrorists."

That's nice but it's all about turnout now...and we had better work like we're 10% behind.

Perhaps, they are already running a pro-masonry platform. I have heard of Kerry being referred to as a 'mortar forker'.

If you think you're frustrated, imagine how it is for the 'rats. They're loosing in most of the polls and they have to know their guy is a looser.

Let 'em suffer for a couple more days.

Well the DUers are simply living in a dilusional state. They take the polls that are positive to them, and ignore every other poll.

Can't help them November 2nd though when Bush WILL win.

New Jersey is in play for Bush. Hawaii is in play for Bush. Blacks voted for Gore about 90% and are backing Kerry by about 82%. Not a single state that went for Bush in 2000 is in doubt for him again. Many states that went for Gore are in doubt for Kerry.

This election is not going to be as close as advertised.

It very well could be a blowout with Bush winning big.
