Could that be why documents on sKerry's website list 1 of his medals as "Siver Star with V"?

Look closely at his website, he has THREE separate citations for that single bogus medal with the combat "V." Each time the language changes and the person signing it is higher in rank.

That's another good question - why 3 citations for the same awards.

From what I've seen in ither posts, the Bronze Star can be awarded with or without the 'V' for valour, but the Silver Star requires valour to be awarded so it needs no 'V' designation as valour is implied.
