Is Celsius 41.11 Completely Gone from Theaters?
Posted on 10/30/2004 7:57:02 PM PDT by Cinnamon Girl
Hoping to see Celsius 41.11 this evening, I checked for listings and couldn't find any. What happened? Is it playing anywhere? Has it been shut down by the left?

It's not on DVD yet like Farenhype 911, so where is it? Ripped down like so many Bush/Cheney lawn signs by the angry left who can't even stand for opposition to exist?

It _may_ be available on DVD (thought I'd read it was; go to the site to found out). It's possible it was only _booked_ for a week (and thanks to no publicity from the MSM, few people heard about it and few went--I did though). I guess theatres need the space to show Dude Where's My Car 23 instead (or at least all the horror
movies).

Try moviefone.com. It'll find it if it's playing around you.

It has a relatively limited distribution. You can see if any local theaters are showing it

I checked that already. None of the theaters in LA are listing it.

I saw it last week in the DFW area. The theater at which I saw it, the theater employees said it would play at least a week, depending upon the response.
The theater I went to was a small, but new theater; they played independent films--no big-name, mainstream movies. Check some of your independent theaters or smaller theater houses.
Here's a link that shows all of the locations you can find it playing.

I'd call the theater and bug them about it, especially if the Celsius site shows it's playing at the theater. They may not want to publicize it much, particularly in the LA area.

It was scheduled to play in Redmond WA but never made it to the theatres. Don't know why, suspect Dem legal shenanigans...
