I watched that interview last night and it was sad. Cronkite was obviously confused and Larry King had to cover for him when he forgot simple things like the year of the last election.

I was angry that his family didn't protect him. The poor old guy should be relaxing and enjoying life with people who love him, not giving election commentary when he is no longer able to do it.

And I hope he never has to endure the humiliation of knowing how badly he blew it last night. :-(

Cry me a river. I do not feel the least bit sorry for the old bastard. He is the one who made everyone feel that the Tet offensive was a Viet Cong victory. He is a sorry piece of you know what! I hate the sob.
