No, he was actually quite lucid in his hourlong interview with Mudd on the History Channel last night. What you're missing is that this is WHAT CONKRITE BELIEVED all those years he was reading the "news" on CBS and its what he believes now. Fascinating segment where Cronkite was asked about his little onair speech demanding US withdrawal from Vietnam in the wake of the Tet Offensive. He was apparently ordered to do it by Richard Salant, CBS News director, which tells you all you need to know about that "news" organization and what kind of trash ran it.

According to Rush, these "Seeds" have sprung up in the Democratic Party. Walter Cronkite IMHO is one of those "Seeds” That is why this Presidential election is the most important since 1864. If Lincoln lost in 1864, the peace (Defeatist) movement would have ended the war by granting the South independence.

Why do we call "Democrats" "Dimowits"? Because of idiocy and lunacy like this. Another example: on KIRO 710 AM Thursday night, a liberal radio talk show host had Jim McDimwit, ex-government Mike Lowry (D), and a guy from the BBC on his show. McDimwit insinuated that the Republicans were behind the terrorist tape (from the "American" guy) so that people would be scared to come out of their houses to vote on Tuesday. Unbelieveable. Liberalism (and Democrat infatuation) is truly a mental disorder. Cronkite and McDimwit should both be committed. But Seattle will re-elect Dimwit anyway. They are totally clueless.
