As his long record on national security shows, Sen. John Kerry is no John Heinz.
John Heinz is everywhere yet nowhere in the race for Pennsylvania's electoral votes. Taken by tragedy in a horrific plane crash 13 years ago, the memory of the U.S. senator who was my boss is daily invoked by the presense of his widow and sons as the second family of the Democratic nominee, Sen. John F. Kerry.

I don't read this commie rag and never would have seen this except that a friend clipped and mailed the editorial to me. Since lots of people on FR (and lots of PA people) don't remember much about Heinz, I thought it might be worth posting. I hope I did this correctly.

The saddest part of this story is that John Kerry is financing his skewed vision for America with the late Senator John Heinz' fortune. How despicable! Soooo John Kerry.

Rendell's despicable effort to disallow extra time for the military ballots and his effort to allow prisoners to vote will do more for Dubya than this aricle about John Heinz.
very good article - particularly the highlighting of Kerry's stance on Nicaragua and the similarity with all the exact same naive foolishness he espouses today about Iraq and the WOT.
I didn't know John Heinz. But I do know that John Kerry is no where near the same man.
