WASHINGTON The song that defines Halloween for many Monster Mash is being brought back to life today with the help of the original recording artist. The new song Monster Slash was recorded by Bobby Boris Pickett, the co-creator of the 1962 hit Monster Mash and also the vocalist on the original recording. Our goal here is to make sure that people understand that the scariest thing to happen to our forests in a long time, said CPAL Director Peter Altman, is the Bush administrations plan to surrender vast quantities of virgin wilderness areas to the logging, mining and oil industries.

Correction: "musician has-been" against Bushie.
Idjits!
Even better, that is why I used quotations. If not for this, who would even know the dude was alive?
Ugh! I'm so tired of "Bush is ruining our forests". It's because of the tree hugger policies that we had so many forest fires in the Southwest during the summer of 2003. I wrote this to a tree hugger and their only defense was that they lived in another state and only went by what they read in the newspaper.
It's because of the tree huggers and environazi's that we have forest fires every summer and gas prices are where they are today. Democrats don't solve the problem, they are part of the problem.

And, how many houses does sKerry own? I suppose no trees were harmed in building his mansions? Another dimbulb emerges from obscurity.
Have Alvin and the Chipmunks weighed in on the campaign yet? And I'm still waiting breathlessly to hear who Dicky Doo and the Don'ts and Napoleon XIV are backing. (Although I would guess a guy being hauled off in a straightjacket should be for Kerry.)
And Zager and Evans.
If man is still alive -- if woman can survive. You KNOW they have to be Dems. Just like Friend and Lover ("Reach Out In The Darkness" ycch)
Hmm -- well, Bobby Sherman seems like he has GOP potential -- wasn't that TV show he was on about logging in the Pacific Northwest? And he sang "Easy Come, Easy Go," which sounds kind of Republicanish. Now the DeFranco Family is tougher to decipher. Is a hearbeat REALLY a lovebeat? What does it all mean? And what would the 1910 Fruitgum Company have to say about it after all these years?
According to my Billboard Top 40 book, Friend (Jim from Houston) and Cathy (from Chicago) are a husband and wife team. Who knew?

BTW: The Professor is 87 yrs and still does occasional stand-up in NYC.
And of course there's Pratt and McClain from "Happy Days" fame. And, releated, whatever happened to Suzi Quatro of "Stumblin' In" fame? What are their beliefs? Are they members of this website?
Wow -- I never thought that 35 or so years after the fact, I would learn a new fact about Friend and Lover. It really does pay to Freep. If you have anything good on Frijid Pink, let me know.
Suzi Q seems like she could fit under the "Bikers For Bush" category. If Carl Douglas ("Kung Fu Fighting") were still alive, you can bet he would be GOP. He was clearly advocating pre-emptive action.
