The 1984 election is when I cancelled my subscriptions to NewsWeak and Slime.
Also, I stopped watching the evening Not News on ABC, NBC and CBS and their crappy morning shows.
I wanted to cancel our subscription to the San Francisco GayRhonicle, and my wife talked me into keep the Sunday delivery. (That went in 1992!).
The 1980's and early 1990's were lean and grim time periods for conservatives re getting the real news.
1992 is when that happened for me. The very sight of a Clinton face automaticlly fills me with disgust and anything that presented this evil couple in a good light was from then on no longer bought or watched by me.
