( OSAMA Bin LADEN) A 'FAHRENHEIT 9/11' FAN
New York Post ^ | 10/30/04 | JOHN PODHORETZ

Posted on 10/30/2004 12:10:27 AM PDT by kattracks

CONGRATULATIONS, Michael Moore — America's worst enemy and one of the world's most evil men is a big fan of yours.

The most startling moment on the Osama bin Laden videotape shown yesterday was his description of the morning of 9/11, which is certainly derived — albeit in garbled form — from a viewing of Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11."

"It never occurred to us that he, the commander in chief of the country, would leave 50,000 citizens in the two towers to face those horrors alone, because he thought listening to a child discussing her goats was more important," bin Laden said.

Just think. If the reprehensible Moore wins an Oscar for his disgusting piece of propaganda, Hollywood will be seconding the favorable opinion of Osama bin Laden.

I want to caution my friends on the Right about claiming that the Osama tape somehow is an endorsement of John Kerry. No doubt bin Laden would like to claim credit for changing the American president. Thankfully, the American people know better than to believe bin Laden will somehow go easier on us if John Kerry wins on Tuesday.

They know this monster attacked America when Bill Clinton was president and that he and his minions will continue to plot the mass murder of Americans no matter who is in the White House.

But something does jump out at you when you consider the message bin Laden was delivering to the United States. It was remarkably defensive, with bin Laden offering some kind of bizarre truce to the American people: "To the U.S. people," he said, "my talk is to you about the best way to avoid another disaster."

How thoughtful of him.

The New York Post's front page should have had a picture of John Kerry with the giant headline: "OSAMA'S CHOICE"

I noticed this also, the rhetoric of OSb is a lot more "thoughtful". He is either trying to lull us into a sense of security, or he is really at the end of his rope.

At one point he declared all US citizens were his sworn enemies and now he's offering us advise? Trying to help us feel MORE secure? WTF? I thought he hated us and we're the infidel, etc.

Well, too little to late a-hole. May your rot in hell you evil piece of poo.

Osama should have waved a Krispy Kreme donut around just to be sure.

The Oscars reminded me of another thread...

"If John Kerry wins, 'Fahrenheit' gets nominated," says one exec. "Then it becomes 'the movie that changed the course of American history,' and the perception will be that Moore contributed to Bush's loss."

Or not. "Its chances are zero if Kerry wins, because then the protest is over and everybody feels better," says another source.

But,says one Academy member, "If Kerry loses, it gets nominated as a big 'f--- you' to Bush."

Oscars to Snub Mel Gibson's 'Passion'

If BenL. endorse KERRY the good response is to vote BUSH.
But it's hard to understand what's happening in a terrorist mind.BenLaden's thoughts are not very interesting,or with the eye of psychologist, and remains dark. The important is what every body, every american people and leaders think.
Vote BUSH,I think, means USA doesn't care about BenLad threats and about traitors like France and KERRY

Yeah this as close as we'll see OBL get to crying "Uncle." Time to redouble the pursuit.

In the America I grew up in, Moore and his compatriots would be swinging slowly at the end of a noose(better use steel cable rather than hemp rope for Mikey).

Osama doesn't understand how Bush could be reading a book called My Pet Goat. "I am living My Mistress Goat here in my cave!"

I am wondering about this...

One of things I believe is happening is that after failing to launch another attack 3 years later and after the beheadings in Iraq, al-Qaida is losing a lot of credibility in the Muslim world. Muslims hate their governments, not American people. After the liberation of two awful governments, Bin Laden is afraid that if he doesn't act fast the Muslim world will tire of him.

I think that you could also read this message as a type of surrender.

Yep. He didn't mention jihad or dreams of restoring the Caliphate or going after America. For someone who is power-mad, OBL looked like a beaten man. But he's still dangerous and we shouldn't rest until him and all his kind are dead and buried.
