John Kerry: Guilty of Attempted Brainwashing

Despite what some might say clearly the most important issue in the upcoming election is our national security and in particular the defense of our homeland against terrorism. And when it comes to issues of our national security and defense John Kerry has proven himself to be the candidate of our enemies.

• “I have a plan for Iraq. I believe we can be successful. I’m not talking about leaving. I’m talking about winning. And we need a fresh start, a new credibility, a president who can bring allies to our side. I also have a plan to win the war on terror, funding homeland security, strengthening our military, cutting our finances, reaching out to the world, again building strong alliances.”

Kerry states that he has ‘plans’ to win in Iraq and in the overall War on Terrorism. I think that if he has a ‘plan’ to win the War on Terror or to fund Homeland Security maybe he should propose it in the form of legislation after all he is a Senator. But then again John Kerry hasn’t proposed a bill that would bolster our defense in all his twenty years in the Senate so why should he start now? And indeed why should we believe that he would act any different as President? In fact during John Kerry’s twenty years in the Senate he has effectively voted against the B-1 Bomber, the B-2 Stealth Bomber, the F-14, the F-15, the F-16, the AV-8B Harrier VTOL jet fighter, and he has also voted against the AH-64 Apache Helicopter, the Patriot missile defense system, the Aegis air defense system, the Trident missile system for our nuclear ballistic missile submarines which presently represents a huge portion of our nuclear deterrent, the M-1 Abrahms tank, the Bradley fighting vehicle, also against the Tomahawk cruise missile, and there are many more.

John Kerry has also effectively voted to cut or eliminate funding for the B-2 Bomber at least nine times. He has also voted against missile defense at least eighteen times despite acknowledging North Korea’s nuclear threat. A threat that began in the mid-90s not when President Bush took office as John Kerry would have you believe. But what could be considered John Kerry’s most telling vote is when he voted to cut the budget for our intelligence agencies by $6 billion AFTER the first World Trade Center bombing which killed six and wounded more than a thousand. John Kerry’s abysmal record on defense and national security is visible to anyone who is willing to look.

• “I have a plan that will help us go out and kill and find the terrorists. And I will not stop in our efforts to hunt down and kill the terrorists.”

But then Kerry says Iraq was ‘the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time’ despite the fact Saddam Hussein’s regime has supported terrorist operatives for decades. Saddam Hussein paid the families of Palestinian suicide bombers, Saddam Hussein allowed terrorists to train in Salman Pak, a camp south of Baghdad complete with a plane fuselage that terrorists used to conduct mock hijackings, Saddam Hussein allowed the 800+ man terrorist group Ansar al Islam to train in Northeastern Iraq near the Iran border. This group has been linked to the attempted ricin attack in London early 2003. This group is also described by the media as operating in a portion of Iraq that Saddam Hussein didn’t have control over, but that doesn’t make any sense when you consider Hussein had a half-million man army with hundreds or thousands of tanks and he could have easily taken out the Ansar al Islam camp but didn’t because why hurt his allies?

In the Vice Presidential debate John Kerry’s running mate John Edwards asked of Vice President Cheney in his patented condescending way, ‘Al Qaeda is in 60 countries how many of these countries do we have to invade?’ What should be the obvious answer even to those who may not like it, such as John Edwards and John Kerry, is we have the obligation to invade ALL of them if diplomacy fails. Certainly we don’t want to invade all of them and we won’t have to as diplomacy and the export of counterterrorism military training will work in the majority of the cases. Of course it should also be noted that the probable cases in which diplomacy won’t work are going to be with the most powerful countries who maybe feel they can thwart US and allied pressure long enough to acquire a more permanent deterrent(i.e. nuclear weapons) or at least to hold out long enough to receive massive economic aid. Other countries who are too weak and simply don’t have the military capacity to root out embedded terrorists will also probably need United States or allied military assistance in some way. Some countries may have terrorists who exert some influence in the government as was the case in Afghanistan. These countries depending on the level of terrorist involvement in the government may be in need of regime change also. Of course every country is in a different situation and there are many other variables involved.

John Kerry and John Edwards continuously state they will hunt down and kill terrorists wherever they are yet the only terrorist they seem to have real interest in is Osama Bin Laden. Granted Osama Bin Laden is a very high priority target but there are currently 37 organizations that the State Department designated as foreign terrorist groups. The great majority of which are Islamic extremists, of these they all declare Israel and the United States to be the ‘Great Satan’. We need to eradicate all of these extremist groups. Whether we enlist allies to do it or do it ourselves getting rid of these organizations is a must.

Post September 11th John Kerry is the last man America needs as President. In his twenty years in the Senate he has gone almost out of his way to build what can only be described as a horrendous record when it comes to the issues of national security and defense. Despite what some pundits might say we are currently at war. Not just in Iraq, not just in Afghanistan, but in every country where Islamic extremist terrorists who wish to kill innocent Americans and civilized westerners are found. Al Qaeda is stated by many experts to have a presence in over 60 countries and has thousands of operatives. Al Qaeda’s leader Osama Bin Laden declared war on the United States in 1998. But it is more complicated than that because Al Qaeda isn’t the only terrorist group who is a threat to America. There is also Hezbollah, a group responsible for the deaths of 241 American marines who were killed when a suicide truck bomb detonated near their barracks in Lebanon 1983. This group is said to have direct ties to the regime in Iran and also operates in Syria and Lebanon with the permission of the Syrian Assad-led government. Jemaah Islamiah exports it’s brand of terror all over Southeast Asia and is an ally of Al Qaeda. The 9/11 Commission Report stated that a Jemaah Islamiah member, Yazid Sufaat, was sent to Afghanistan in 2001 to take over Al Qaeda’s biological weapons program. Sufaat was said to have spent several months attempting to cultivate anthrax for Al Qaeda in a laboratory he helped set up near the Kandahar airport.(9/11 Commission Report, pg. 151) There’s also Egyptian Islamic Jihad whose leader Ayman al-Zawahiri merged his group with Al Qaeda in the 90’s.

Then there’s Palestinian Islamic Jihad which has combined it’s extremist jihadis with the likes of Hamas in order to ‘bring an end to the Zionist state of Israel’. Hamas has taken credit for dozens of suicide bombings which have killed hundreds of innocent Israelis. Hamas has also recently been given credibility as a legitimate voice of the Palestinian people by none other than the United Nations itself. The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency(UNRWA) in Gaza, Peter Hanson, has recently admitted to having Hamas members on the payroll. He also stated that he ‘doesn’t see this as a crime’. This is the same UN that John Kerry mentioned when he once stated, “I’m an internationalist. I’d like to see our troops dispersed throughout the world only at the directive of the United Nations.” Then again Kerry probably believes Hamas is a legitimate voice of the Palestinians too just as he believes Moqtada al Sadr is a ‘legitimate voice of the Iraqi people’. There are other groups such as Abu Sayyaf, the Abu Nidal Organization, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and a number more all of which represent a distinct threat to innocent westerners everywhere.

All of these groups combined and their state sponsors represent the largest and most immediate threat to American national security since the Soviet Union in the 1960’s. Especially when coupled with the reality that nuclear and bioweapon proliferation IS taking place. The American public should ask themselves that if John Kerry believes Iraq is ‘the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time’ despite there being thousands of terrorists there, many of which were in Iraq before U.S. troops even entered the country, then how can Kerry be trusted when he says ‘he will hunt down and kill terrorists wherever they are’? The answer is John Kerry can’t be trusted.

There are so many reasons not to vote for John Kerry next week. The fact that he met with the North Vietnamese in France twice during the war and lied about it should at LEAST dismiss him from holding any public office and maybe even give him jail time. I thought this article mentioned a few of the other reasons why Kerry can not be elected. What jumped out at me was the part about the terrorist trying to cultivate anthrax for Al Qaeda in 2001. Haven't heard too much about that in the media.

I'm sorry...I am as anti-John Frk'n Kerry as anyone here...but this stuff is begining to be ridiculous.

People...please use some common sense before posting some of this crap.
