What a great numbers... I'm happy for this. Just hope that getting a big number of volunteers, etc., doesn't become the goal in it self without translating into votes...

and that's not all ... I'm sure there's other like me ... who extended the walk the vote on their own ... which is not captured by the Bush Campaign.

I (and a few people that helped out here and there) have knocked on (left literature) to over 800 homes (of registered republicans or households where occupants are neither democrats, republicans, or greens) in my area (Northeastern PA). This was basically over the last two weeks (on the weekend, on the way to work, and on the way home from work ... with night being the time to plan my next routes).

It's Cleveland Plains Dealer. 48-45 Bush. Coming out tomorrow morning. Mort Kondrake mentioned it on Brit Hume show today.

I'm in PA ... Win Ohio and PA! I think Bush can win both (if the GOTV ground game works). Biggest concern is the demorat fraud in both states. I think the fraud will be worse in Ohio ... but Ohio is more republican.

Listen to me, a Texan from Houston:

I used to live in Ohio in the 70s and still think your State exhibits the great traits of mine: independence--morality--family values--American pride.

I thank you for your involvement politically and FR participation.

Thanks to you--y tus queridos amigos!--we WILL prevail!

God bless you and yours...=bob=

I'm in Ohio. Figured "what the hell". I won't be able to sleep for the next 3 days, so I might as well volunteer.
Don't worry. I won't wake anyone up. I'll just focus on the night shift crowd

You are to be commended, however, you might consider joining the organized effort of the BC campaign. Independent action is not efficient and sometimes counterproductive.

An organized effort is/should be coordinated with the phone effort along with door to door and mail. The campaign has targeted and prioritized precincts with a predetermined plan to best penetrate that neighborhood. They know how to get the most bang for the buck.

By doing a lit drop with the wrong message may not be effective for a given neighborhood.

Once again I want to commend you for your efforts.

I am working with the organized efforts for the 72/96 GOTV effort.

What I did up until now was to go through my township (about 90% of it ... my targeted list of registered repubs. and independents) and parts of a neighboring borough. People were very nice to me (nobody gave me an attitude). My wife is working on the organized phone efforts ... and she tells me some people get annoyed with the phone calls (because they have been call several times by different organized efforts I guess).

I think the door knocking is more effective (based on my experience and knowledge of what is going on in my area). In the future, I think they should do more of that.

That is normal even in low profile campaigns. LOL , in your neck of the woods people must get calls every night.

I think the door knocking is more effective (based on my experience and knowledge of what is going on in my area). In the future, I think they should do more of that.

Personal contact is the best, however, should be tied in to the phone effort. Phone ID’s then contact.

Glad to hear that you are part of the overall effort. You need to win for us here in la-la land (CA)

Good luck and have a virtual drink on me.
