Now -- I am not for just bombing innocent willy-nilly. Nor do I subscribe to the notion that the parents and supporters of terror are innocent merely by not taking up weapons. But I can tell you this, a catastrophic attack in the U.S., resulting in tens of thousands of deaths -- or more -- and the destruction or biodestruction of a City would justify massive, unrepentant retaliation. Where -- of course, is the big question.

The truth be known, this is a world war fought by a sub and transnational group of fanatics who receive aid and assistance from Countries who claim to be allies. That makes retaliation much more difficult.
