Navy chief on Swiftvets.com is saying they FOUND IT!!
Agree that the timing is perfect. IF it's true, the American people will have to ask themselves, do they really want to elect someone less than honorably discharged from the Navy as CIC? I think not.
Under Other Than Honorable Conditions. OTH Discharges are warranted when the reason for separation is based upon a pattern of behavior that constitutes a significant departure from the conduct expected of members of the Military Services, or when the reason for separation is based upon one or more acts or omissions that constitute a significant departure from the conduct expected of members of the Military Services. Examples of factors that may be considered include the use of force or violence to produce serious bodily injury or death, abuse of a special position of trust, disregard by a superior of customary superior-subordinate relationships, acts or omissions that endanger the security of the United States or the health and welfare of other members of the Military Services, and deliberate acts or omissions that seriously endanger the health and safety of other persons.Persons awarded an OTH characterization of service: are not entitled to retain their uniforms or wear them home (although they may be furnished civilian clothing at a cost of not more than $50); must accept transportation in kind to their homes; are subject to recoupment of any reenlistment bonus they may have received; are not eligible for notice of discharge to employers (which may affect unemployment benefits); and, do not receive mileage fees from the place of discharge to their home of record.
Either it's a lie...or they don't want to story out further.
Swiftvets are lining up their ducks, dotting all i's and crossing all t's.
It means all the traffic was overloading their server!
Navy Chief has a habit of doing that when he is on to something really big. maybe he doesn't want to give too much info to the "enemy".
Our country didn't have the guts to charge Johnny Taliban with treason. They won't charge sKerry with it 30 years later, either.
That's what Cpl. Max Klinger was always angling for, right?
Man, I hope this is true and hits the airwaves SOON... I want to watch the DUmmies go into conniption fits! They'll be screamin' and hollerin'... It'll be fun!
I'm told that 60 Minutes is going to run a piece about soldiers from Oregon that were sent to Iraq without adequate equipment and they had to scrounge from the Iraqis.
No way. Sorry - you don't know how much I wish this were true. But there is no way that a former secretary of the navy said this for attribution.
I agree. It wouldn't matter if the October surprise revealed that John Kerry was the Anti Christ. The DUMBOCRATS are supporting anarchy, not a candidate. Good Democrats need to get a clue... they've been outsourced!
That was gonna be my third choice.
If this were a rumor about Bush, the MSM would be all over it. The pubbies are not as dumb as the dems. It's seems a bit late for an October surprise of this type. While I hope it's true, it could just a easily be a troll trap on the vet site, hoping the pubbies will take the bate and run with it. Then the MSM will pounce on the pubbies for questioning Kerry's patriotism. What a wild ride this is getting to be!!!

I have to agree with you. I don't think anything short of John Kerry beheading a school crossing guard on videotape will move the media.
If this is what it takes to keep a public traitor from being elected to the White House, I'm afraid we have much bigger things to worry about that an "other than honorable" discharge. If it was 'dishonorable', that's a whole other ballgame.
Right on. That's why CBS was going to air the explosive hit piece on 60 Minutes this Sunday.
