This is already true in an ultimate sense, I think. "Our (ones who know Christ) real citizenship is in heaven" (Phil.3). But while pilgrims here, we have responsibilities, too. I know exactly how you feel. If Kerry were to eek in somehow, I would feel like: OK, America, you asked for him, you got him, YOU deal with all the havoc he wreaks. However, when push comes to shove, I probably wouldn't REALLY be able to keep my nose out of the fray.

The discussion I'm having with God is:
Why raise this man up to let the world triumph over him? And if you intend something great, then let it come with a rush, not a trickle.

I also am asking God "will you let a good man who stands in the gap be brought down by lies and hatred? Far be it from you, Oh Lord!"

I don't know. I think I am getting to old for this stuff.

The last Election took a lot out of me. I dread Tuesday night. But, we all have to go through it. :)
