Brit Baer on Fox News just announced. Coming up in 1 hour.
Update: 3ID soldier to have briefing about collecting and destroying 200 tons of explosives on April 13.
And this is the way things should be done. No hair trigger response, just an organized news conference with the facts. This administration knows how to handle things, folks.
Any clue what the topic of the Sunday talk shows will be? :-)
My money is on Halliburtion. You don't think they are going to focus on anything that may help Bush do you?
bttt
Here we go!
I hope this begins Rove's October surprise.
IT SURE AS HELL FITS TOGETHER MUCH MORE NICELY THAN QUERRY'S THEORY THAT LOOTERS CARRIED THE STUFF AWAY ON THEIR BACKS!
Sorry for shouting but this whole episode really pissed me off.
Hey, I'm a woman and don't know alot about military stuff, but I will take a guess, is 3rd ID, third infantry division? (don't laugh, I am just guessing!)
I think if you couple the soldiers testimony (they said it will be done on camera in a few minutes) with the photos they have of the trucks outside that facility BEFORE we got there, it really makes sense. Some was removed before hand (and maybe WMD's? too? Russia?) and what was left was secured, controlled and removed/destroyed by us.
Rove knew that sKerry was a man that stood for nothing and therefore would fall for anything.
By falling for this little bit of chessplay, he has proven that Mr. Kerry/Edwards are not leaders but merely men that react with no penchant for leadership.
Gertz's story was about a lot more than just this 380-ton cache of explosives.
I just do not understand why the heck he fought in Vietnam then...he is such a traitor and seeks to exploit America.
Why can't more Americans see right through him?
Well, I was in a store yesterday that had the N.Y. Times, and its headline read "Bush hits back at Kerry's Iraq charges," so it looks like the rat that put the story up originally was jumping ship yesterday!!! LOL!!! I'm excited about Tuesday evening, and can't wait to see the shocked and horrified looks on the faces of Rather, Estrich, Jennings, et al.
Some of it was moved before the war and much of it was destroyed by US Forces. That makes all the sense in the world. What a bad day for Kerry
Unless there is conclusive evidence released today refuting the original claims made by the NYTimes and others, this story is not good for PresBush`s reelection efforts. Period. Frankly, there is no time left in the campaign for this story to move off the political radar screen. The entire liberal establishment has been playing it up, for all its worth.
Drip, drip drip....
Got the TV on and the PC firing up!
"All right... WTF is going on.... first no one knows what happened to the explosives and it's Bush's fault... then there is proof they weren't there (NBC), then proof they don't know because they weren't looking (NBC-2), then they were looking (FOX, Pentagon), then the Russians moved them (Gertz), then video of trucks before the war (Pentagon), then video of drums of possible explosives (some affiliate), and now the Pentagon says they destroyed them. "
My thoughts exactly. I feel like my head is about to explode.
Hopefully today's testimony will be decisive. If it is, count on it being juxtaposed with the ABC footage whenever it is mentioned.
No matter what happens next week, I am swearing off news for a month. Call me an ostrich, but this anxiety has begun to get to me.
is 3rd ID, third infantry division
yeppo
Let's see Kerry call this guy a liar.
