Last night I was kind of bummed out. I had that sinking feeling that what I was seeing on CNN with Aaron Brown's smile was the end of the road for the President. Then I remembered a post a couple days before this story broke. A guy came on here and said a story was going to break that was going to be the end for President Bush or something along those lines. He was hit here pretty hard and IIRC they pulled the thread within an hour. Last night I was thinking that I'd sure like to see that thread again and find out where he is from. Do they archive pulled threads somewhere and can they trace the communications to here from the posters? I'd love to see it analyzed because even then I thought he knew something ahead of time and was gloating.

Don't buy all this Carl Rove baloney. This was a orchestrated attemp by the DNC and the UN to hurt Bush. The UN needs cover and the DNC needs a win.
Time was needed for the admin to respond to this allegation, because it involved classified info on Russia and on operations.

I've had my hopes dashed so many times this week that the MSM would even pretend to be reasonably objective that I'm not gonna get happy about this, either.
MSM is determined to defeat Bush. They are haters.

Fantastic! 200 of the 377 tons of explosives in question were taken out of that AQ facility in question! Hahaha! Suck on that Kerry!
BEWARE: 200 tons will be mostly non-HMX and non-RDX.
The point is that someone was making an effort to catalog, collect, and destroy weapons by April 13, 2003.
I'm betting that he will say that they didn't find much HMX or RDX. I'm sure alot of that was moved prior to the war.

HELLO? KARL ROVE? PLEASE EXPLOIT THIS!!!!!!
Rove's been in a prevent defense since September. It's up to FR, Rush, Hannity, FoxNews, Gurtz, even Drudge, to take advantage of this.
And to everyone else, please spare me that Rove planned this and is a genius. I do not like Rove's campaign style one bit.

Excellent! Thanks for the ping Tonk!
I love our soldiers!

"Exactly! Why is Kerry so anti-military?"
Well, first off, America's "mystic war on Communism" (sKerry's words, Congr. testimony) proved how effective a strong military is to preserving America to some degree...so, naturally, this makes the American military Communist Kerry's thorn - everywhere they go, IslamoCommunists get checkmated.

so if Bush was responsible for the explosives not being secured isn't he now responsible for destroying those explosives? Somehow I doubt the media will play it like this.

Maybe this is what the NYT editor meant when he said "The story wouldn't hold" until Sunday.
He knew that someone would leak this to the administration (or us) and they needed to get out in front of it in order to get as much damage as possible on Bush.
See what I mean?
Let's say 1 million people actually had their votes swayed by this now debunked scandal...
They probably hoped that they could keep 20% of that 1 million after the Pentagon cleared it up.
Make sense?
To: rocklobster11
BWHAHAHAHA!
I just wish the MSM would actually cover this.

LOL. The only think the kept Ketchup Boy and the Rats can now do is attack the military and accuse them of lying. That won't play in Peoria...

If Bush wins the UN is in deep s**t. That is why the UN want Kerry to win.

Let Kerry talk about Halliburton all he wants. But watch what will happen to the poll numbers.
To: LegalEagle61
Kerry tried to use this as an October surprise knowing that the removal of these explosives was Top Secret and this administration couldn't defend themselves. Basically he thought he could say anything. What he didn't anticipate is that the DOD would declassify some of this information and now give a full picture.
