First Lady? How about First Broad? That is a better title for her. Doesn't matter, though, in another couple days she will just be an afterthought relegated to the trash heap of electoral history.

The democrats are becoming the party of the elitists and the Republicans the party of the people.

I use to think that hillary was the worst possible person to be called first lady. I know admit I was wrong. Either the Ketchu Queen or the riot if we don't win edwards wife would be worse. Neither of these two have the slightest concept of the meaning of class and dignity.

In the general scheme of things - the First Lady is not supposed to carry that much weight in the President's decision/policy making process. However, we learned differently during Bill and Hill's reign. Imagine if you will, a President as weak personally and politically as Kerry is, with a "sassy" wife who truly holds his purse strings. If he doesn't fall into line with her policies (since he really doesn't have any of his own), he is smart enough to know that he will once again be an ugly gigolo...and an old one at that! Now who do you think would really be running the most powerful country on earth???

Takes me back to Barbawa "the hook" Striesand, and her admonishment to California women to dry their clothes on clothes lines during the energy shortage in that state.
When asked if she planned to dry her clothes in the same manner, the diva whose electric bill is five grand a month huffed, "I didn't mean me". She meant the lower classes of course. Those working women that hold a job and raise a family, or worse, the house mouses that stay home and raise good citizens.
It also brings to mind Bill Mahlar's screeching about launching a protest by sitting in the dark, not him of course just any fool he could talk into going for his lame plan.

I actually kind of like Theresa. I think she'd be fun to talk to at a dinner party.
