Interesting article abotu the Bin Laden-Saddam connection -- with a story of the Pearl of Allah, that may be worth a GGG PING.

The Pearl of Allah, the largest pearl on record, was recovered from a giant clam on May 7, 1934, off the coast of Palawan Island, Philippines. The pearl is 9.4 inches long and weighs about 14 lbs. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the San Francisco Gem Laboratory has valued the pearl at $40 million. The Muslim diver who found the pearl said its surface bore the image of a turbaned face, and he named it the Pearl of Allah.

The Pearl of Allah has been ensconced in an ocean of legend. (in the last quarter of article they go into more interesting details.)

People are too lazy to read the article.

This is blockbuster news, proof of direct collaboration between Bin Laden and Saddam -- with hard evidence of faxes, corroborating witnesses, and a credible witness who is revealing it, and all people commenting on is the peculiar shape of the pearl.

This is serious proof -- you don't give $40 million dollar gifts to just anybody. Maybe Bin Laden was giving this to Saddam, in exchange for Saddam providing him with WMD.

I don't know what the excerpting rules are from WND, but in retrospect, you could have posted more of the article, then most likely people wouldn't have bothered to even click on the link, and would have gotten the gist of it.

This is a very important revelation, from a credible person, with evidence.

This should make the Dems eat crow, if the Republicans would just serve it to them.
