Wow -- To send Cheney all the way to Hawaii tells me that the numbers in the midwest must really be firming up solid for "W", otherwise Cheney would be hanging out in Iowa, MI, WIS, PA, OH, et al. Cheney's first stop on Sunday is in Michigan at noon.

Bush should send the twins to Hawaii and have them campaign on the beach. Of course they would have to wear the "proper" attire for such a venue.

Asians do
not like big white guys who BELLOW at them! (Gore)
but..... if you have to be a big white guy, they like the kind who lower their voices and look down a lot while folding hands. (That would be Dick Cheney's normal mode of communication)

I have been saying here for months, that I think Bush may win big. I know it is hard to believe with all the polls being so close. But we saw the polls off in 2002, by a large margin. And EVERY ONE of the 2002 polls showed the repub loosing or it being a lot tighter than it turned out to be. We've also seen it in the primaries this year. I think there will be a couple of big "post-mortems" on this election, that will be being written about 7 days from now. One will be that the polls did not factor in 9-11 correctly. And two, that we saw the turning point in the end of influence of the MSM like CBS, ABC, NY Times.

Seeing the VP smile like that and the confidence I heard in Bush's voice over the radio tells me that they are confident of a win.

Kerry hasn't written off Florida, he is still running 24/7 ads here. The Media fund is spamming the airwaves with their "VISIT BUSHANDSAUDISDOTCOM TO LEARN MORE" lies. Kerry and the Dems are burning the GDP of a third-world country here.
In response, I've started "THUMBS UP FOR BUSH." Every time I drive by someone with a Bush/Cheney sign or bumper-sticker, I give them a big thumbs up. I've been giving a hell of a lot of thumbs up lately. Mostly in Broward County, of all places.
Bush wins Florida. Is that enough to carry the election? We'll see. My gut says there are gonna be some sad-ass commies on November 3rd.

A side note, listening to Kerry speak the last 2 days, he sounds defeated, his voice lacks conviction even as he tries to forcefully project confidence and attempts to rouse support.
He may finally be realizing that he can not win, no matter how many people lie for him or how many lies he tells.
For that, he has no one to blame but himself.

Good evening.
Cheney at the Arizona Monument will be a powerful image. AlGore won't be able to match it and it can't hurt to remind people of why we fight. Winning Hawaii would be sweet.
The campaign must think so too.

I think that California going to Bush is ridiculous. sKerry gets the big prizes of Cali and NY. It's the REST of the country he's going to have a hard time with. I said back in September that Bush would have 350 electoral votes but I have to say going into the weekend that I don't really have a clue what's going to happen. The campaigns have internal polling that we have no idea about so sending Cheney to HAWAII shows a lot of confidence. The Big Sky Boys are out the 12 hours of travel time just to get to the islands. Cheney could travel to two or three states in the same time. Does Bush/Cheney know something we don't know or is this just a psych job on the Dems? I THINK that Bush has good mojo going into the weekend. I think the "looted explosives" story was a stupid gambit for sKerry and may be the thing that allows Bush to get to a 4% lead. Bush'll need some good numbers based on the cheating that's going on. Morris has maintained for months that if the election is about terrorism then Bush wins. Have we Republicans managed to game a terrorism emphasis for the final weekend? Bush will have a hard time with congress if he wins on Tuesday. The Dems lost in 2000, they lost in 2002, they lost California (now it's CaleeFOORNya) and I think they'll lose on Tuesday. Hey, the Sox won the World Series so Kerry doesn't get the presidency. (Sorry, this is about 3 posts rolled into 1.)
