THIS PRESIDENTIAL RACE HAS NEVER BEEN NECK AND NECK

This Presidential Race Has Never Been Neck and Neck By Debbie Daniel October 27, 2004

How about defining it as being cut off at the knees . . . and then told to run? How about hands tied behind the back . . . and then expected to lead the nation? Now I know why George Bush calls on the name of Jesus.

George Bush has been brought to his knees since Al Gore called him back on election night 2000 to say, "I've changed my mind, I'm not conceding the race." And from that point on . . . we've never been more divisive.

It was definitely a battle over control, and the Democrats were not about to give it up; even though the Florida recounts - still to this day - confirm that George Bush won. The "Dems" refuse to believe it, thus the nation is, and will forever be, at the mercy of this self-inflicted "disenfranchised delusional thinking." That's where we are.

Let's listen to some real statesman-like behavior with the liberal vice-presidential candidate, John Edwards, saying, "You've lost your mind if you vote for George Bush" . . . and Senator Joe Biden calling the President of the United States "Brain Dead."

It's alright for these leaders to make such tasteless inferences toward a sitting president, but when the president was on the campaign stump and said that John Kerry was not prepared and ill-equipped to be Commander-in-Chief, Tim Russert of NBC's Meet the Press jumped on it saying, "Is that Fair? Why Mr. Kerry is a decorated war hero and has served in the Senate for 20 years."

When I heard Mr. Russert make such a defiant defense of the Senator, I knew clearly what our President was up against. It's so blatant!

Mr. Russert, is it fair that John Kerry put the lives of U.S. prisoners of war in peril by announcing to the Viet Cong they were murderers? Oh, I won't even go there.

George Bush did not divide this country . . . it has been a calculated effort on the part of liberals and the mainstream media who have incited division. It's "deliberate division" . . . well thought-out and executed. Think about it. "Come hail or high water," they will not work with George Bush. They're making sure to cut the wedge between us even deeper.

It's a division that has no recourse. If Abraham Lincoln's legacy was that he saved the nation in a time of civil war while invoking the name of God many times . . . how do you do it with an "un-civil" nation who refuses to hear God's name mentioned in public?

We may get a handle on terrorism, and we may conquer brutal dictators, but we may never again know a life of civility once enjoyed, embraced, lived and loved to its fullest in this land we hold so dear.

We have freedom of speech, but even that freedom will soon become our bondage. . . just wait and see.

George Bush has been brought to his knees on many occasions: by one, Dan Rather of CBS, who willingly sought to topple this President single-handedly by presenting forged papers against him; by Ted Koppel of ABC, definitely against the President, determined to defend the testimony of a group of communists in North Vietnam who dispute the words of 254 of our finest American veterans - and Mr. Koppel wants us to believe the communists; by Hollywood with the likes of Matt Damon who would give millions of dollars to get Bush out of office; by Broadway who produced a play entitled "How to Assassinate the President;" and on and on it goes as Mr. Bush is called murderer, liar, cheat, an abysmal failure; but don't dare call Mr. Kerry "ill-equipped." And Tim Russert questions fairness?

And then to really confuse things, along comes John Kerry who decides he wants to be just like George . . . yes, George W. Bush. It almost sounds and feels like the "I want to be like Mike" commercials. He wants to be like George!

Why just last week John "FAITH" Kerry found religion like never before. Does George Bush's faith inspire him, or is he just covering all his bases?

He has said over and over throughout the campaign that a person's faith is private and personal, but he decided to share it with the world. Hallelujah! The man has finally decided he did want to share his faith before he didn't want to share it.

Actually, it's heartening that he does want to share his faith, but he was just a bit more conspicuous with it, especially after the Democrats have "damned" the President for "acting like the Pope" and "wearing his religion on his sleeve."

Ah, but when John Kerry wants to share his faith, we all listen.

His message was quite inspiring: "Everything you do in life is part of your faith . . . I grew up a Catholic . . . I was an altar boy. I will bring my faith with me to the White House and it will guide me," said Mr. Kerry.

Thanks for sharing, John.

Mr. Bush has been labeled a "lone voice in the wilderness." He's been accused of creating a division, a diversion, a disenfranchisement . . . let's see, what else can be blamed on him?

I believe the polls are starting to show that the American people have caught on to this "liberal lunacy."

As we see Mr. Bush brought to his knees by all these opposing groups - just note that he continues to bow his head in reverence while on them. George Bush has told us: "I'm a patient man."

So, it's not "neck & neck" - it is a "lone voice" crying out for God to protect this nation, while an "Army of Americans" have their whips out everyday to beat him down.

But even when brought to his knees with his hands tied behind his back, and I'm sure a threat on his life every single day . . . he's still in the lead. Now that's miraculous!

For all of you who find it abhorrent that I continue to speak of George Bush's faith and chastise me for doing so . . . I say: "You've missed something very special in the strength of this man. You've missed more by not experiencing the source of his strength.

And lastly: I wish for you God's richest blessings on your life. God bless us all as we move forward to choose a man to lead us.

May your choice be God's choice at such a time as this . . . I can't imagine it any other way.

True Believers spend a lot of time on their knees. So our President was not at a disadvantage as some might believe. On his knees he had more power, and at the same time humbleness than anyone knew.

This is a wonderful piece by Debbie Daniel. She must also know the Lord.

Our President will be re-elected in a landslide.

Because.... He serves the Lord first.

And I personally do not know another Presidential election, where there has been as much prayer uttered for the process.

The Lord God CAN do this without our wringing of hands though. I like to keep this in mind.

God bless our President.....George W. Bush

Let not your heart be troubled. Trust in God and not in polls. The prayers of a righteous man availth much. You are just one of millions of us praying for President Bush to win this election. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says "...if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We prayed in the last election (2000) and despite all of the Democrats attempts to steal the election, they failed. Why do you think they are out of their collectives minds with rage? In spite of all of the voter fraud, the lawyers, the lies and the deceit, they lost the election. Which only goes to prove, "If God be for you, who can stand against you? (Romans) No one. I believe that President Bush will win by a landslide. Just keep praying. BTW the Republicans are going to pick up seats in the House and in the Senate. In the Senate they'll pick up 4 seats including Tom Daschle's. Praise be to God!

I believe the division actually started under Clinton. Clinton's perjury and obstruction of justice - and subsequently being called on it with an impeachment - divided this country. One half believing he shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, the other half believing he should've gotten a free pass. The division has been hardcore ever since.

Just today I had an argument with a kool-aid drinker about this very thing. He tried to make the point that it was only a b-j. I about spit on him when I yelled "GOOD GOD MAN!! NO-ONE CARES ABOUT HIS SEX LIFE -- WE CARE THAT HE LIED TO HIS WIFE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND CONGRESS!!"..

He said "oh".

That is why the country is divided, one half is utterly led by their noses with their eyes squinched shut and we (the other half) have thoughts of our own.

I think the fact that cellular telephones can't be polled is more than statistically significant and all the polls we have seen to date under represent the young people of this country.

I wouldn't be surprise if the MSM has some "October surprise" in their back pocket which actually favors Bush,

I'd be shocked, hope you're right they owe him one(at least)

and then they can explain a "late surge" for the President and a comfortable win by him on Tuesday as being the result of this turn in the news.

I think they've had way too much kool-aid for that to even be feasible in their puny minds.

It will be a face-saver for them.

They will NEVER repair their self inflicted damage they engaged in this year IMHO.

Polls were invented for the purpose of propaganda

Absolutely !!!! They are nothing more than an attempt to persuade people and mostly agenda driven.

I have started to ignore them completely. They mean nothing.

I have believed for a long time that Bush will win by a comfortable margin. This is not to suggest we should kick back and relax, by any means.

Contrary to the supposed poll participants, I believe there are many quiet Americans that know what our country faces right now and also know the kind of leader we must have.

I have never in my life felt the hatred in my heart that I feel today towards every single democrat in power and the media.

My exact sentiments. I really disliked Klintoon, but compared to sKerry, Klintoon was ok. sKerry is one sorry SOB that should be in Leavenworth instead of Washington.

I'll never forget Gore on the lawn of the White House declaring Clinton the greatest president in history.

That is the enduring image I have of Gore as well. He condemned himself to the ash heap of history with that statement.

We prayed tonight about the election, and for God's hand of anointing to be upon Pres. Bush. In fact, our prayer meeting broke up just 20 minutes ago, and we prayed precisely the same thing you've articulated here. What did God tell Joshua and the Hebrew people before they entered the promised land? -- "Be strong and couragous." Let's adopt that same attitude over the next 5 days.

I want to affirm your comments. We prayed the same thing tonight. A group of us have been gathering since early Sept. to pray for the election. We all have a sense that the polls are wrong (perhaps deliberately wrong), and that Pres. Bush will win such a mandate that even his most strident detractors will have to acknowledge it. We believe Pres. Bush is God's anointed to lead this country at this time. The victory Tuesday will not be a victory of man or of party; it will be God's victory.

Thank-you for your prayers on behalf of our President!!!

We have to remember that God commanded Joshua and company to be strong and courageous. And he said it over and over!

We must obey this command!

Only through this will we have confidence!

The analysis here is correct.

And because of it, the Left is very mistaken about Kerry being able to unite the country again. The Right will hate him forever. Worst than the rapist.

The Left wants a fight. They will get it.

"I guess he never had a plan?"

Now there's a shocker, eh?

I keep asking every Kerry supporter I speak with(easy to find here in LA)what Kerry's plan is, and no one can tell me. They just know "Bush is an idiot."

I hope not. The Left has become consumed by their hate. It can just as easily consume the Right.
