LAS VEGAS -- A feisty former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright denounced George W. Bush on Thursday, saying the president's divisive and destructive policies had wreaked havoc on the world and diminished the United States.
"I am depressed about the standing we have in the world today," Albright said during a brief stop at an American Legion hall. "This president has ruined our reputation and destroyed our credibility and moral authority. To use a diplomatic term of art, the world is a mess."
Albright has been campaigning for presidential candidate John Kerry with a group that includes former top generals, a U.S. Marine who served recently in Iraq, and Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., the highest-ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.
Albright had nothing good to say about Bush or the war in Iraq, which she described as a "chaotic disaster."
"It was badly planned," she continued. "It was horrible. There was no plan. The president calls it a 'catastrophic success.' Have ever heard those two words together? It's kind of like imposing democracy, another oxymoron."

If this Marine is still on active duty he is in deep poo poo. Active Duty military are forbiden to campaign. This bumb a$$ can be cour martialed. I hope he gets called on the carpet. I would love to be a fly on the wall when he steps into the SgtMaj's office. Let the a$$ chewing commence!
Quiet Maddie, I understand they eat dogs in North Vietnam.
It's all over when the FAT LADY starts singing!!!!
A trait of an incompentent person is that they don't know they are incompentent.
It's amusing to me, for all her "tough talk" about world affairs, a current and future administration stopped talking about things and (gasp!) actually DID something.
This, I fear, is the real source of her consternation. To paraphrase, those who can, do. Those who can't, talk a lot of nonsense and pat each other on the back for a wish well articulated and codified into a binding resolution and disseminated widely, albeit ignored. The carefully crafted system of do-nothing consensus builders and head-in-the-sand appeasers has been replaced by a rational world-view based on reality. It may not be pretty, but that's not our department.
Not only is she disgusting but the AP is getting to be a joke too.
Silly Albright is a good one to talk. She, along with Clinton and the dumb Sandy Berger, are responsible for the death of over three thousand Serbs, mostly women and children, people who never posed a threat to us and who never did us any harm.
"The latest fiasco--and easily the most important one--involves arms inspections in Iraq. At least six times since November 1997, Mrs. Albright or one of her top subordinates has secretly called off weapons searches in that country. During a period when the United States was insisting on "immediate, unconditional, and unrestricted access" to Iraqi sites, Mrs. Albright was working behind the scenes to inhibit UN inspectors. The situation became unbearable to Scott Ritter, a key UN investigator and the senior American on the team, who quit in August. "I heard somebody say Madeleine Albright blocked more inspections in 1997 than Saddam Hussein did. It's a funny quip, but unfortunately it's true," Mr. Ritter told Newsweek. "Not only is it Iraq that is frustrating us, but it is the people who are supposed to be supporting us that are obstructing us." - John J. Miller, National review, 12 October 1998.
It's got to be a punishment for something we did or did not do to be constantly taunted by the spirits of losers past. Even Carter has removed the stake from his heart to roam once more amongst the living. Guess one can never die if there is no brain to confirm it. Sigh.
No wonder Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi thinks Albright and Kerry are nutbags. ------They never heard of Douglas MacArthur.
What do Christopher, Baker, Shultz, Haig, Vance and Kissinger have in common? The are Secretaries of State with a sense of propriety, who know how to act judiciously, who can be trusted by either party to assume a task requested by the United States and to carry out that task honorably. Albright breaks the mold. She is, simply put, a political hack. She is pure Clinton.

Wow I almost got sick, I thought you said "mooning".

The U S S Cole was no picnic, old hag.
