Global warming -- the sun did it. I blame the asteroid that killed the dinasaurs for the root cause for global warming. Without that asteroid, they wouldn't have died, get buried under rock, become coal and oil, burned to produce power and alter the atmospheric carbon balance. Nice job asteroid.
