"Democratic leader Tom Daschle struggled for political survival in South Dakota."

Ummm, the "struggle's" over.
The 'Rat Terrier of American politics has been put outa his *misery*; and, so now the question becomes: can it get any sweeter than that?

I know-I know.

...we're *all* deeply saddened. :o)

Yeah. The two fulla crap Johns could pull the flush lever on their campaign, instead of opposing what is clearly a Bush victory in Ohio.

I mean, I'm confused... have the democrats forgotten their 2000 rants? It seems that the popular vote is (to them) what elects the President. Mottos like "Beat Bush Again" and "Let's not elect Bush in 2004 either!" etcetera, etcetera, ad nauseum.

WELL...President Bush beat Senator Kerry by well over 3,000,000 votes... yet the Democrat machine inside and outside of the Kerry campaign vows to fight on for the elctoral vote in Ohio.

This party has a memory problem.

...and, so now the question becomes: can it get any sweeter than that?

Lemme stick this brief rant from another thread here for comment:

And yet, they came within a handful of electoral votes of actually making this a race. That should give us pause. It's not just the Dim party that has vacated America, but they and the MSM have brought almost half the country along with 'em. That is troublesome is it not?

From what I've been able to determine, it took a heavy turnout by conservatives to overcome the socialist machine this time. Maybe future elections will see even larger turnouts by conservatives or defections from the dark side? I wouldn't bet my life on it.

For an interesting scenario, consider what the outcome would have been if a more "moderate" candidate had run under the Dim banner instead of the Bolshevik offered? We knew what Kerry was and were apparently able to get the word out about him over the best efforts of the MSM dreamers. The guy gives Lenin a good name.

So, we should celebrate our victory but prepare to attack the enemy where he lives as "W" would say. IMHO, the Ministry of Information is our most formidable adversary. They hide behind the first amendment as they incessantly throw stink bombs at our republic. They create the environment necessary for everything else to work. Hot on their heels is the public school system. They are filling our kids heads with feel-good mush that actually better prepares them for work on the plantation than critical thinking.

Just the beginning...
