This is a funny Video Snipet of George Bush playing around a bit before some taping. I put it up because it is on DRUDGE and will almost certainly appear at FR.

The source is the infamous Texansfortruth and the gesture is featured on their page:

Texansfortruth

These guys are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

What about when Kerry flipped to bird to Vietnam vets at the Vietnam Memorial in D.C.? Where was the rat outrage when that happened?

Bush joking around and flipping the bird. Bubba Clinton getting a blow job from an underling on Palm Sunday while he is being investigated for sexual harassment on the job.

No double standard. No sur.

I saw it and thought it was funny. I don't usually go for such antics but you can see he's changed since then. He's been changed by the office but he's human. This is clearly playful and not crass and full of vitriol like Kerry's language.

I kind of like this. It throws a bit of cold water on those who negatively emphasize Dubya's 'extremist' fundamentalist Christian beliefs.

I have one friend who is a christian, but has been brainwashed against Bush's christian 'extremism', to the extent that she is hesitant to vote for him. I am sending this clip to her.

My guess is that the video clip was from either GWB's first election to the Texas Governorship (when he cleaned Ann Richard's clock), or from his re-election. If I were Karl Rove, I would be sending that clip to each and every member of the Kerry team on November 3rd, with a reminder:

"Now, you're going to have to deal with this man for FOUR MORE YEARS! (ahem)...and WITHOUT LUBE!"

When they tried to make a big deal about the Vice President's use of the F word in the Senate, the people wouldn't bite. A poll showed people thought it made him look more human. You can look for this to be all over tv in the next 5 days.

The President did this clowning around. Kerry got his picture taken doing it to a Vietnam vet at the Vietnam Memorial. Do they really want to there?

Old bushmen in the days if the cattle drovers used to carry a piece of bedding around with them, called a "Swag", as in Waltzing Matilda "Once a Jolly Swagman camped by a billabong, under the shade of a coolibah tree..."

Now in those days it was very difficult to get good quality bedding material for a poor country bushman. An enterprising young lad from Dubbo, an outback town in New South Wales, came up with the idea of a very good quality bed-roll made from Koala and Kangaroo skins and the wool of Sheeps backs. Because there were so many of these animals running, (and climbing and sleeping in relation to Koalas that is) around everywhere at the time, he had hit on a winning formula for business success, i.e. Low cost of materials, Cheap manufacturing and huge latent demand. This bush entrepreneur came up with a top quality, inexpensive bed roll that become a favourite of the country drover and bushman. It was so popular that it even sold very well in the big cities of the day like Deniliquin, Kickacanalong, Melbourne and Sydney. A hundred and fifty years later the phrase "Fair Dinkum" became etched into the collective consciousness of the Australian populace.

The inventor of the revolutionary bedroll was the son of an escaped Dutch Convict who arrived on the Thirteenth Fleet. His name was "Arthur.A.Dinkum" and many a pub around the Great Southern Land has had his name etched on the walls by his huge band of admirers. Thus the bedroll became known as "The Fair Dinkum".

Anything that is good and strong and genuine is thus said to be "Fair Dinkum Mate!"

And the above story is...100% Fair Dinkum.
