Oh yeah!
I'd love to see a few LONG sentences in a Texas prison handed out to fraudulent votors. Sets a great example.

THEY NEED TO BE MADE EXAMPLES OF WHAT HAPPENS WITH FRAUD !!!!!!!!!!!

will someone tell me the brilliance behind 'early voting' again?
We give the democrats weeks to vote again and again instead of just one day?
I swear, republicans have an idiotic tendency to shoot themselves in the foot in the name of 'being nice'.

I wonder what party they were from? (sarcasm)

"Voting twice is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, Sistrunk said."
I wonder how many people find this a worthwhile risk?
Maybe Ashcroft could do a little media event, concerning federal laws covering voter fraud. He is, after all, the sitting Chief Law Enforcement official.

Voting twice is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, Sistrunk said. Bet a lot of democrats don't realize that

I wonder what party they were from? (sarcasm) Since the party they voted for wasn't mentioned in the article AT ALL, my wild guess would be Dem.

This might be construed as an intimidation tactic leveled by the Republican administration against typical Democrat voters.

Yes! I don't think they do.
I think they NEED to know!

Idiots. Texas isn't exactly a swing state... Did they really think a few people voting a few extra times would be enough to give the state to Kerry?

A half-dozen Galveston County voters could face criminal charges
That says it all for me. COULD/MAY face charges? It's a felony! Put these bastards away! They are STEALING the votes of all the rest of us who are LEGAL voters, not felons, not yet DEAD, and only voting ONCE!

I'm tired of going through this but one more time..
Early voting makes it easy for working stiffs (Republicans) to get to the polls. We've had it in Texas for ages and it's one of the leading reasons that this is now an ALL Republican state. We love it here. Try it, you'll like it too. There is clearly a lot more Republicans who benefit than Democrats who might cheat. When legal votes are greatly increased (by early voting) the fraudulent votes become more diluted and less effective.
Period!
To: Cincinatus' Wife
I hope they throw the book at them.
To: flashbunny
If voting twice is punishable by ten years, maybe letting them vote early and often will add plenty of counts to the voting fraud charges. Three strikes you're out and all. How many times can the average Democrat operative vote if given enough rope to hang himself? Lots of counts... hard to claim you just forgot you already voted and accidentally voted 87 times.
I wish they could be nailed that way.
It'd be funny if the dems end up voting an average of 87 times for some third party characters by mistake. All we need is some Democrat county officials to program the machines in such a way that the average Dem numbnut voter finds it as confusing as they claimed the FL 2000 election was.

Absolutely, lock em' up and throw away the key. Peggy Noonan voter fraud should be a class 1 felony instead of a class 5 felony.

If not him (that might be "intimidating"), there should be an annoucement to the MSM!
