War does not "trump" abortion as a moral issue. War is not an intrinsic evil, always and everywhere wrong. Abortion, on the other hand, IS intrinsically evil, always and everywhere wrong. The Iraq war especially is justifiable on moral grounds, given the vicious nature of Saddam's long tyranny and the danger it posed.

Mel will speak from the Heart of a devout Roman Catholic and it won't be a flattering endorsement of Kerry.

YOu took some nasty hits from idiots on this thread, and all because you wanted to make sure we didn't miss something truely important. Thank you Map Kernow.
And to all you aforementioned "idiots", so willing to kill the messenger, I do hope you will be big enough to apologize to Map Kernow. Do it....you'll feel better.
Okay, then I'll apologize for calling you idiots, and just revise it to you just being overly skeptical, and foolishly willing to attack one of your own before you know what the heck you're talking about.

hope he doesn't equivocate or bash Bush -- again -- and leave it at that. That, after all, is the point, isn't it? Wrong, this is not an "emotional hero" worship. The whole point of this entire argument was that you were not able to back up your blatant remark about Gibson and prove that "he is not as conservative as you think," despite my backing up the contrary multiple times.
Before you go blasting anyone with false accusations and painting him with a wide brush because of one issue, get your facts straight.
And I'm leaving you with that. Have a good one.

The ONLY reason they would have him on is to bash bush. The MSM will use this to try and cut into the religious conservative base.
