Today was the last straw. . . I work at a printshop in Sarasota, and have had to do several jobs for the Kerry/Edwards material - Postcard to women, absentees voters and black voters(where they actually say the republicans stood in the way of the Civil Rights Act '64 and the Voting Act '65). I have had to create things for the incredibly strange Jan Schneider. But today was a topper, the Sarasota DNC came in and actually order 250 signs and a qaunity of smaller signs that read "Republican for Kerry, cross over now!" UnEf'nbelivable. Even the most leftest guy in the building had to laugh outloud. So here is my responce to these arrogant Rats. This is a sign to print out or email and give to your 9/11 Democrat buddies, we all know at least one. It shows the web address for "Democrats for Bush." This is a one-up sign 5.5 x 17 and will fit in the window of most cars. I left a 1/2" void at the bottom of the sign so it would slide down and not cover up anything. Please help out in this last minute GOTV effort to help start the conversations that I believe WILL lead to Dems crossing over.
Thanks in advance.

Listen, after today where some shmuck tried to run over Katherine Harris and the news is full of bullying at the early voting polling places. We know that there are dems that don't truly stand with this, the new "National Socialist Party" with AFLCIO Brown Shirts et-al.

"Republican for Kerry, cross over now!" You should have printed a few for the top of the stack as they requested and then underneath made about 200 that changed the word "over" to "dress".

You might have wanted to convert that to a JPG, PNG files tend to be very large.

I thought quality would be better with a PNG but your probably right since it's in a moving car.

How do we print it? Can you break it into 4 images that we can print and tape together?

You are right on quality...but it is likely that the image is going to be be downloaded by *alot* of Freepers. That is a freehost you are using, right?

Actually, if it's something with a lot of solid color(s), and the color is pure, a .png can be smaller than a .jpg. Not so with typical images that have thousands of colors, of course.

The bandwidth on freehosts tends to be lower then if you have a paided for account.
You can't complain about getting something for nothing, obviously, but I know alot of times you end up seeing a bandwidth exceeded message or the dreaded red X.

No problem.
Note that I added the width/height reduction [width=680 height=220] since the original image was 3400 x 1099!

I took the liberty of resizing it to 800 pixels wide. It's still a .png at only 61 kb's, a smaller file that many, perhaps most, of the images posted around here.
