Doctors in Ramallah fighting for Arafat's life

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat was fighting for his life as of Wednesday night, after his condition deteriorated sharply on Wednesday evening, officials in Arafat's office told Israeli security officials.
Arafat, 75, lost consciousness Wednesday evening, and a team of Jordanian doctors, headed by his personal neurologist, Ashraf Kurdi, was urgently summoned to join the Tunisian and Jordanian doctors already treating him. At Egypt's request, a team of Egyptian doctors is also en route.

The PLO will never ever make peace with Israel. That's not their purpose. I can't agree more.
That is a PLO of today.
They are forces in Palestine today that want to co-exist with Israel. They know it is their only option for survival.
I am sure the new Bush administration will make every available resource to see those people obtain the power to run Palestine Arafat recent internal organizational troubles was all about controlling strife in his own ranks.

Well....The Lord told Ezekiel that He takes no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked. Even so...if the Lord is no respecter of persons, I agree that He neither requires a "Global Test".
All my life I've witnessed Arafat and his ilk. All my life I've seen him spew hatred, and rebel against a nation who's very land was given to them by God. Albiet, their disobediance caused them a LOT of grief, but He still chose them, and these "Sons of Ishmael" have been mad about it ever since.
I grew up being told, and taught that the PLO and Yassir Arafat were all TERRORISTS. Now I'm going to get to watch "heads of state", and the likes of Koffi Anan parade past his coffin, and shed tears. I never thought in my lifetime I would ever see a man like this pass in any other manner except by violent means.
Pretty strange I tell ya...but then a LOT of strange things seem to have been happinging lately. Have you noticed? :-)
