PROTEST ZONES by Jenn Green If Bush Wins--or Steals--This Election, Don't Just Sit There
If Bush gets reelected on November 2--if half of our fellow citizens lose their minds, or if he manages to steal the election again--storming Seattle's federal offices, prisons, and property will let him know that we're not going down without a fight this time. Here's a list of federal sites in Seattle that could be perfect places to protest:
JACKSON FEDERAL BUILDING--915 Second Ave. The Jackson Federal Building, which houses everything from the Office of Civil Rights (ironic, no?) to the U.S. Government bookstore, was the site of an unsuccessful antiwar protest in March, 2003. The key to demonstrating at the Federal Building is organization: Agree on the terms of the march, and do everything in your power to avoid jaywalking in front of the building (the police really hate that). If things get out of control, seek refuge in the office of Senator Patty Murray (she doesn't really like W. either).
INS DETENTION CENTER--815 Airport Way. The 150 detainees at Seattle's INS Detention Center would no doubt be cheered by the sounds of protesters gathering outside the walls. The thought of another four years of Bush as president and the joys that go along with that--being jailed with no evidence of terrorist activity, all in the name of "preserving liberty" through the PATRIOT Act--probably depresses them too.
BALLARD LOCKS--3015 NW 54th St. As long as you're not brown-skinned and carrying a camera, you won't, like one unfortunate Seatle resident, attract the attention of Tom Ridge's Dept. of Homeland Security by marching on the Ballard Locks. We don't know why you would want to march on the locks but, hey, the fish ladder is cool and there's a big hill you can roll down. And there's a lot of parking, unlike at the Federal Building downtown.
That takes care of Seattle. But if we wind up with another 2000-style deadlock--if election results are contested in Ohio or Florida, or if Republicans try to stop people from voting in any state--that's where the real action will be. Protestors with guts should head to those states to make their voices heard. And if Bush manages to steal the election, then we'll see you in D.C. in January. Bring some eggs.
Best thing is that everyone get a camera pointed at these marxist creeps when they riot.
Focus in on property damage, take video of the perpetrators in the act. Then get a copy turned over to the police.
It would also be good to send other copies to newsmedia and websites so that the whole world can see how ugly these marxist creeps are.
Exactly.
But
The person who runs that site should get a visit from the Feds. Isn't inciting a riot a punishable crime?
I agree..The nuts here in the NY City area will go nuts with a bush win..
"But
The left believes in gun control , WE don't --ergo we WIN!!!!"
No, the left believes in gun control for us. Their behavior proves that they don't believe the law doesn't apply to them. The biggest liberal I know has a larger and nicer gun collection than I do.
oops, here is the link to the previous post on this subject. This is when they where threatening a riot (in the last issue of the stranger)

Absolutely.
Thanks for bringing that point to light. Its kind of like when someone pushes you (the Conservative)and you push back. You get arrested because the cop only saw your push. It doesn't matter what preceded that push -you are the one ( the Conservative, politically incorrect ) that will end up with egg on your face -thrown by liberal scum and supported by liberal politicians -politically correct police chiefs -and liberal media.
BE CAREFUL OUT THERE !
Life might not be fair at times but justice will prevail.
Vigilance and preparation is the way to go right now. The left may be breaking off into a crazy orbit soon.
BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let them protest. Let them smash windows like they did at the WTO. They don't understand that it is such behavior that convinces people to vote for Bush.
Funny how they can put forth in an argument that if bush "steals" the election, they'll "steal" it back from him by rioting.
It is such hypocrisy and idiocy that leads to civil wars.
Amen. Just let them make me feel threatened in my home.
And LOTS of ammo!
AMEN!!!
BTW, it did work.
Rioting in Seattle??? That's never happened before. /sarcasm
I can just see all the "girlie men" with their latte's trying to hit cops with their fanny packs!!!! Get severe with them and shut down all their latte shacks! Bring in the Guard and sweep em into the ocean and let's start over!
I wouldn't be so sure of that. They are the criminals!
Sounds like hot air to me. I've heard it down here in California, too. Problem is that dimlywits are simply louder.
*shrug* Let them Go ahead and protest. See if they get the election in 2008 when Hitlery runs.
"These folks don't realize that we have the guns"
And the guts!!!
