Thank you for your service and I hope you enjoy your retirement as much as we have enjoyed ours. I loved being married to an Air Force career man. It seems like only last week that he retired after a 30 year career instead of 1988. Good luck and God bless you and your family.

Commish, Thank you for serving us with honor and distinction. I appreciate that you give your fellow Airmen the respect they've earned. On so many levels, you're a class act.
Tonk, next time, a hanky alert please.

Congratulations and thank you, TSgt. Michael N. Schlau, for your service to our country. I know you will be missed by those you served with and you will miss the camaraderie of being with them. You are transitioning to a life unfamiliar.
You now are free to exercise those first amendment rights you so valiantly protected for all of us. You no longer can be muzzled by military restrictions. YOU ARE FREE TO SPEAK YOUR MIND WITHOUT REPERCUSSION FROM YOUR COMMAND! It's a wonderful feeling!
I retired in Sept 1992 and soon after, the draft-dodging, dope-smoking, womanizing, IMPEACHED, dirtball Klintoon was sworn in as Commander-In-Chief. I learned that my first ammendment rights were precious!
I hope you won't have that need, as I am projecting George W. Bush will be re-elected in a landslide on the very day you become USAF-ret!
Enjoy your FREEDOM OF SPEECH and thank you for your honorable service!

I know how you feel! I retired just about two years ago from 20 years in the Navy and am very proud of my service. I congratulate you on yours. But I had broken service having entered while Vietnam was still going on, and getting out for a few years before finishing up the rest. But just be aware that in some places you will get lectures on duty, honor, and country from cretins who've never served and don't know the meaning of the terms.
Congrats brother!
