WASHINGTON, DC *In response to George W. Bush's invocation of prominent Democrats including President John F. Kennedy, Kennedy's daughter Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg issued this statement. "It's hard for me to listen to President Bush invoking my father's memory to attack John Kerry. Senator Kerry has demonstrated his courage and commitment to a stronger America throughout his entire career. President Kennedy inspired and united the country and so will John Kerry. President Bush is doing just the opposite. All of us who revere the strength and resolve of President Kennedy will be supporting John Kerry on Election Day."
Developing...
President Kennedy WAS a public figure. Therefore, anyone can invoke his name. Funny how they drag Caroline out whenever they think she can be helpful to the dem/lib party. They use her and she hasn't the intelligence to realize it. Sad for her.
President Bush is a great man and he is going to get my vote and the vots of millions no matter what kennedy/Schlossburg says.
President Bush is a great man with a great First Lady. Listening to the dem/libs they think the only President in the United states ever was JFK. They are wrong. Guess they don't have anyone in their party they think is good enough. Guess what? They are right. :)
Ah, love is blind.
It appears she inherited her fathers grace and not her mothers
You beat me to it, by 1 hour and 56 minutes.
How classless.
LOVE that!!! LOL
when JFNKERRY stops pretending he is JFK and showing those pictures of them SAILING when he was younger
Somebody has this B***h's email address?
It just shows Kerry is no JFK..and how many times has Kerry mentioned Reagan. SHUT UP CAROLINE.
"DItto"
Kerry named some cabinet choicess earlier, I know that "The Rev. Jessie Jackson, James Carville, Joseph Biden, and other prominent Dems are listed in there.
I heard he stole the election in, I guess, 1960????
Man she turned out to be an ugly child in many ways.
Pray for W and Our Election
Here's a news flash dear: Your father was a public servant who lived a public life. Anything he said or did during his career is public record and is perfectly legitimate for discussion in any political discourse. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. Live with it.
Jag
I'd be delighted if everyone stopped treating JFK the First with undeserved respect. JFK was the son of a bootlegger, stock-manipulator, and political boss ( a sort of Irish George Soros). A pathological and abusive womanizer like his father, brothers, and various cousins, he pulled air support from the Cuban freedom fighters at the Bay of Pigs, thereby emboldening Castro and Khrushchev to plant nuclear missiles in Cuba (which he called Cuber, although a worshipful media never ridiculed his pronunciations as it does G. W. Bushs). The resulting Cuban Missile Crisis, far from being a triumph of strategic will as portrayed by the MSM, was a direct result of his imcompetence and weakness, as was the no-win Vietnam War on which he embarked.
Far from uniting the country, JFK I was despised by so many Americans that the Left immediately assumed that his assassination was committed by right-wing Texas elements. Actually, of course, it was a leftist who worshipped Fidel, much as do many of todays venomous Bush-hating, Che-admiring, Kerry-voting junior communists.
Bobby Kennedy Jr. was caught up by Hannity, admitting to using private jets for travel.
Hypocrisy runs deep in that whole family-except for the one who got a lobotomy.
Thanks. I remember now.
Don't forget the fact that his daddy bought him the election he did "win" with his dirty money.
Without mob and crooked union help in West Virginia he wouldn't have won the primary, and without it in Illinois he wouldn't have stolen the election.
Today he would be a REPUBLICAN!! : )
