I guess that calling her "controversial" reduces the charge to a misdemeanor. Also note how the Democrat who tried to run her down is not refered to as a "controversial" Democrat.

Found a picture of the honorable judge at
http://www.stu.edu/news/releases_detail.asp?item=276
He's the far right guy on the right picture.
Might be him. Anybody else find a better picture?
Additional information I found to aid you searches.
Hon. Barry S. Seltzer
Magistrate Judge
U.S. District Court
Southern District of Florida
299 East Broward Boulevard
109 US Courthouse
Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301

On second look at the above refd page it appears I misread the list. Seltzer is a big guy, looks nothing like this person. Even the lawyer that looks similar has better hair.
Sorry. Perhaps someone should check my work.

I don't think they're the same person. The arrest report at the Smoking Gun website lists that Seltzer as having a Sarasota address while Judge Seltzer works out of Ft. Lauderdale. That would be quite a commute. Besides, they don't look alike at all to me.

When Puff Daddy says "Vote or Die," I guess some people take it to mean "Vote Democrat or Die."

Because everything I have ever read about the man acknowledges he is "controversial." They don't necessarily attack the guy the way he deserves, but nobody even at AP or Reuters pretends he's in the mainstream.

come now. he's simply expressing himself. exercising his 1st ammendment rights.

Hard to tell. I think the article would have said he was a judge. My guess is that they are two different guys.
However, Democrats in high power do some very stupid things. And he was driving a Cadillac (smile)
