Wow! Awesome!

The pics are great. You must be flying today being in that good company. So glad you were able to show them that we care so much, about what these fine men have given to our country "then" and NOW. I can't wait for the story on your post. I regret not being there last night, had to work, but will be taking time off work to help out with the final hours of our victory work.

Yesterday morning I checked Freerepublic.com and saw the announcement about the public showing of the documentary "Stolen Honor" at the Eola Lakeside bandhsell in Orlando last night. I live in Orange Park, just outside of Jacksonville, and about 140 miles from Orlando. I cancelled my previously scheduled doctor's appointment, called home and told my son I was going to Orlando and I would be home late. I called a couple of friends as I was driving and invited them to come, but they had other things going on, so I kept driving and headed south!

The traffic started to get heavy when I got on I-4. I was traveling in the inside lane and moving along at about 60 MPH, when I noticed a police car directly behind me. I kept focused on the distance ahead of me and suddenly the cop wasn't in my mirror, but had moved to the right lane next to me. I looked over at him and he was giving me a thumbs up! I smiled and returned the gesture. Then, he pointed forward and moved in front of me, and made a 'follow me' motion and turned on his blue lights! We picked up the speed as the cars moved out of the way. I was getting a police escort! About that time my son called me on my cell and he couldn't believe it when I told him what was happening! That county sheriff escorted me through 25 miles of heavy traffic and got me to the exit for the event in record time!

What is amazing about the whole ordeal is that the deputy must have known about the "Stolen Honor" event and recognized the Swiftee stickers on my truck and offered his assistance. To me, that demonstrates the sentiment and support around the country for the Swiftees and AGAINST Kerry!

There were 1,000 people in attendance at the event in Orlando and it was a wonderful evening. The audience was in rapt attention when the documentary was showing on the huge screen in the amphitheater. Each POW and Swiftee asked the audience to please forward the www.stolenhonor.com website to everyone we know and encourage them to view the streaming video and of course, forward it on. Kerry has done everything is his power to keep the American people from seeing this documentary, because he will be EXPOSED - it's up to us to get the word out!

After the event finished, I had the distinct honor to meet person to person with the Swiftees and POWs in attendance at a private reception afterward in Winter Haven. I was able to have nice conversation with each of the POWs and Swiftees and I can tell you I will remember last night as long as I live.

I wish to thank MoonMan, Minderbender26, and Matchett-PI for posting the info about this, or I would have never been able to experience this! FReepers RULE!!

Here's the HEROES on the cell with FReeper WVromania, thanking him for making all the Swiftee stickers!
