Philadelphia Chooses 'Gays' Over God? Is Homosexuality "Good", Christianity 'Bad'???

FROM CONCERNED WOMEN FOR AMERICA Philadelphia Chooses 'Gays' Over God Is the city trying to tell us that homosexuality is good and Christianity is evil? Commentary Lee Duigon

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20

Consider these Philadelphia news stories in chronological order.

1. July: The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp. launches a multimillion-dollar ad campaign on cable TV to attract homosexual tourists to the city. The ads depict Betsy Ross sewing a "rainbow flag" (the emblem of organized homosexuality), two men in colonial costume enjoying a romantic interlude, and rave reviews of Philadelphia's "gay night life."

2. August: "Gay Day" at the ol' ballpark, in this case Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. When Christians protest peacefully by displaying banners, they're ejected from the park. And the crowd cheers when two men hop onto the field and smooch.

3. October 10: Philadelphia police arrest 11 Christians for committing the "hate crime" and "riot" of singing hymns near a homosexual "Outfest." The Christians have been charged with a laundry list of felonies, some of which carry prison penalties. Described by Philadelphia authorities as members of a "criminal conspiracy," the Christians sang the hymns to protest – peacefully, nonviolently – a city-sanctioned "Coming Out Day" for homosexuals. Is the city of Philadelphia trying to tell us that homosexuality is good and Christianity is evil?

Something's going on here. Would you believe Philadelphia is one of very few major media markets in America whose list of top ten-rated radio stations doesn't include a Christian station? San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Boston each feature two Christian stations among their top ten. Even San Francisco! But not Philadelphia. (See www.radioandrecords.com/RRRatings.)

A house divided against itself cannot stand. It seems Philadelphia has chosen sides: big-money and organized sodomy over the Word of God. Well, at least we know where Philadelphia stands.

Someday, sooner than you think, the whole country will have to choose. Biblical Christianity and Gay-topia cannot live under the same roof. If the one is right, the other must be wrong. Each of these worldviews excludes the other.

These events in Philadelphia give us a foretaste of what that choice will look like – Christians carted off in paddy wagons, punished for expressing their faith in public – if America chooses to support the homosexual movement.

If Philadelphia has bought into the 'homosexual fairytale' that wants us to believe that human beings created with heterosexual genitalia are not heterosexuals but in fact some heretofore unknown 3rd gender or race, then they'll soon find themselves having to buy into yet more obscene fairytales.

Transsexuals ......drag queens, drag kings, he-she's, and whatever other bizarre beings who present themselves under the transsexual banner, are ready to kick off their own 'liberation' movement, and their 'civil rights' arguments are based upon the very same moronic arguments used by the homosexual web-weavers. And one of their demands is that 'male and female' public restrooms be made 'gender neutral." Imagine that.......gender-neutral restooms haunted by freakish beings who look like escapees from the bar scene in Star Wars. Furthermore, they want all "hateful, bigotted, insensitive, hurtful" references to 'male, female, mother, father, husband, and wife" removed from all public documents and for those documents to use gender-neutral terms. Say adios to "Mother's Day" and "Fathers Day" and say hello to public nudity and yes.....to public sex. Why not? It's an integral part of their "culture".

How much deeper into the abyss of madness are Americans willing to descend?!? We're already having to pick our way around ever increasing piles of detritus and to shield ours and our childrens eyes and ears from the circus of sleeze from which a river of smut flows through every corner of our land. When are we going to say 'enough is enough"???

Philadelphia is really taking this "City of Brotherly Love" thing FAR too literally...

It's really disappointing, and fairly depressing.

Philadelphia is a already a dirty, corrupt city.

When we had a lot of rain a month or two ago, there were entire blocks of Phila. that were submerged, because the corrupt city officials took the tax money and spent it on something other than effective drainage systems and keeping the infrastructure up to date.

I knew this had to be next. It was only logical. I wonder how long before women start to get freaked out by less than savory characters peering over the stall door.

Sounds like they bought into the role played by Tom Hanks in the film: PHILADELPHIA . There is only ONE message they will understand ... reduced tourism to Philadelphia, means loss of revenue for the 'brotherly' city. $$$$ talks!

My bet is that the unsavory characters will be in there ahead of them, waiting for them.

Why do you think the movie, "Philadelphia" was made here?

Philadelphia is a cesspool that grows ever larger claiming more of the city for it's own. Very depressing.

I walked past Hanks as he was filming it.

I think Mother's Day and Father's Day will stay as long as we move the apostrophe over and make it Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day.

I walked past Hanks as he was filming it.

And he did a commendable job. But, he was portraying someone else, in a character role. Tom Hanks is a good actor, but this performance was all about the $$$$.

Homosexual Agenda ping - read Lindykim's comments, she (he?)said it better than I could.

If anyone still thinks that radical homosexuals* just want tolerance and to live peacefully in society, please read not only this article but the links that Scripter puts up for us. They do not want tolerance, they want dominance. They want to change not only the US but the world into their own whorehouse, replete with the elimination of the age of consent. I am not exaggerating. I've done the reading.

Let me and Scripter know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

*Remind me again of how all the "gays" that people really know personally are buttoned down, grey flannel suit wearing, conservative voting, monogamous, non-AIDS spreading, non-"Gay" pride parade attending, non-bath house orgy participating, normal family people just like you and me and don't promote or agree with the radicals?

Funny, the only homosexual spokesperson who publicly disagrees with the "gay" agenda is Tammy Bruce. A lone voice in the wilderness.

Moi Kerri, the Poster Boyit for the radical gays will get 110% of the votes in some polling districts in Philly.

GAYS and Kerry are so good for America, or so say all of those pushing the Gay agenda.
