YET ANOTHER SERVICEMAN REFUTES THE TIMES ACCOUNT [10/26 05:23 PM]
From yet another Kerry Spot reader with a ".mil" e-mail address:
You are correct in your bottom line conclusion. Here is a second follow up. I was serving as a [identifying information removed by the Kerry Spot] staff member during the time in question. The Commander on the site had complete real time intelligence on what to expect and possibly find at the Al-QaQaa depot. The ordinance in question was not found when teams were sent in to inspect and secure the area. When this information was relayed, Operational plans were adjusted and the unit moved forward. Had the ordinance in question been discovered, a security team would have been left in place.
Geez nopardons,
I wasn't expecting to have to defend myself or my opinion on my first post. I should have first asked you any questions that I had and you obviously would have had the correct answer to each one of them.
By the way that you responded, I assume that you are a political consultant of some sort and are paid very well for your opinions.
I am just a lowly construction worker and was only expressing the feelings of myself and the 2 dozen or so people that I work with each day.
It was quite a chore to convert the crew from FM to AM, but being that it is so close to an election and most of the guys have a little age on them, I was pleasantly suprised to see that 75% of the guys are genuinely interested in what they are becoming aware of.
I do not have enough fingers and toes to count the number times that, upon discussing matters of a political nature, that I would be quoted what appeared on the evening news or in the newspaper that morning.
After a bit of time and a lot of head banging on my part, most of these guys became quite upset that they could no longer trust the sources of information that they were accustomed to relying upon. Believe it or not, they now actually look forward to listening to Boortz,Ingram,Rush, etc., each day.
I guess it is the blue collar nature of us to want to respond to an attack head on. If someone calls one of us a liar, the response is immediate. If someone boldface lies to us, the response is just as quick. It must be in our DNA. There is not much of a feminine side to any of us.
For my part, I will be worried until the outcome is decided. It's not like we won the last election in a landslide.
Take Care,
Buddy M
People who don't have cable, have radios. You think that they don't listed to Conservative talk shows? You think that they believe cBS still? LOL
Look,I have a friend who doesn't have cable. She doesn't even watch network news all that much and no,she doesn't listen to talk radio either.Still and all, she's a GOPer and is NOT swayed by the "big three" lies and distortions, when she does watch.Think she's all that uncommon? Don't!
You get real.........people in California don't read an Atlanta paper, nor any from Boston, but many DO read the N.Y. Post! :-)
Your doom&gloom act isn't passing the smell test and no,I don't "live in a bubble";perhaps you do.
In any case,NBC was the station that broke the N.Y.Slimes' lie! They ran with the story again tonight. So that blows your BUBBLE,right there,as does the fact that cBS is THE lowest rated/watched nightly news show on the air,of the "big three".
No,I am not a paid political consultant, though yes,I have worked on many political campaigns, from a very young ages, and knew/know many politicians/behind the scenes consultants and workers.
Good for you...getting your fellow workers tuned into talk radio.Just don't think that you know how to run a race, because you are well informed to the facts...that's all. :-)
And welcome to FR.
I don't understand what the RNC and Bush aren't more aggresive in their attempts to refute this story. I am still reeling that during the debates he didn't slam Kerry for the Bora Bora lie and Tommy Franks had to do it afterward. But what I'd really like to know is, who is the MOLE in the White House. This is more like sabotage than just plain slime of politics. Sean Hannity did great tonight on Fox and went after Dems and Kerry with justified anger. This is exactly what Bush and the RNC need to do. They can't just let it lie.

The military is refuting this flatulant lie by the Slimes and Kerry..and who better to do it? John Kerry is the man who has sold out our military time and time again for over 30 years!
Did you check the link that I provided? Or are you so damned self-absorbed that you know what you know and what other people know or say means nothing? The link that I provided is the one that sets advertising rates based on readers. Check it out, idiot.
They have the NY Daily News at 802,103 and the NY Post at 678,112. That's them, not me. You go argue with them, or STFU.
Here it is again. Read it and weep, idiot.

As for the rest of your rant, I've got better things to do. In the inimitable words of Teeereza Heinz Kerry, Shove it.
A very good strategy.
This bogus story is already being shot down quite effectively by Rush, FOXnews, and a thousand bloggers.
Bush should stay positive, remain focused, and keep beating on Kerry.
May this be true!
The N.Y.Post,FYI,prints it's subscription/readership numbers,as well as those for the Daily Snoozes, whose numbers have not only been INFLATED by Mort's henchmen, but there is now also a scam being run by the DN as well.Do go read all about it in the Post's on line edition of today's paper.:-)
Don't blame me,dear,if you're factually challenged and someone else bursts your bubble.:^)
I think that I will quit while you think that you are ahead. Your posts make less sense each time that I read them. No sense in exposing myself or others to any more of your non-sensical blather.
I will politely leave as the victim so that you may rest well feeling that you are the conquerer. I bow to Thee.
Rest well my blind friend,
Buddy M
I feel sorry for you...I really do! If you can't handle my original post to you,you aren't going to be able to handle FR's usual give and take at all.
kerry is full of kakaa
The response is too slow. If it doesn't get out by noon Thursday there will not be time enough to dissemminate it to very many people. Friday evening and Saturday are a bust for most people. Sunday not much better. Monday will be frenetic and Tuesday will very quiet until 7 pm.

i cover Cheney's response. Cheney makes the points.
Unlike Kerry, Bush didnt jump to conclusions here,
and instead the send out RNC letter asking *us* to step forward and respond to the media.
You are right. I guess none of us knew before the Internet and FNC how badly we were being scammed by the leftist bastards in the Media. So I stand corrected.
C'mon people, if Team W responded to every hunk of poo that the dems have flung over the past 4 years, he wouldn't have time to say anything else.
This will take care of itself, just like the forgery/fabrication from CBS did. When that happens, and it will be today, tomorrow, or the next day, our guy will look like he his above this petty gamesmanship.
Just work to get everyone to the polls that you can, and keep on praying!
You're right about a slow response. Here in Democrappie Maryland everyone is saying that this story will crush Bush and it's over for him--no one is paying any attention to the dismantling of the story-only the original hit piece is what sunk into their rat brains
I have a call in to a colonel at Ft. Campbell and hope he can go on the record.
Excellent................
