WHOA!
City of Miami Beach residents overwhelmingly re-elected David Dermer as their Mayor in November 2003 for a second two year term. Mayor Dermer received 86 percent of the vote in the election, winning the highest percentage obtained by any Mayor in the history of the City of Miami Beach. At the time of his first mayoral victory, Dermer had successfully concluded a 4-year term as a Miami Beach City Commissioner. At just 38-years-old, David Dermer was the second youngest Mayor ever elected to office in Miami Beach. Dermer is second only to his father, former Miami Beach Mayor Jay Dermer, who was six months younger than his son David when elected back in 1967.
Ed Koch is in florida hard at work ,for Bush, untill friday
He is Jewish. I live in Miami Beach. Good mayor, all things considered.
I was unclear. It was the fact that he was a "democrat" that I considered to be a non-factor.
I think you can pretty much guaranty it.
Ping!
Ouch.
May God bless Mayor Dermer. A liberal that wasn't afraid to speak the truth about Kerry.
Ed Koch is making the cirtcuit down there right now. He's going to be there the rest of the week. He'll be a major plus, a Jewish Democrat from NYC pulling for W.
Not just another Democrat: the Democrat Mayor of Miami Beach, FL!
"I was unclear. It was the fact that he was a "democrat" that I considered to be a non-factor."
This guy pulled 86% in the last election. Gotta have some impact! Fox has reported = that the republicans are saying their Jewish support 2003 is up from 2000, 20 up to 31%. Maybe another 5 to 10 percent higher now? Equals lots of votes.
He actually endorsed President Bush a few months ago.
Do you have a list of Bush Democrats?
Was re-reading Chris Reeve's book and found out that he was very good friends with Ron Silver. Silver is the guy who started Reeve and Susan Sarandon in political activism! I didn't realise what a big deal it is that Silver is on the Bush team!
Why oh why doesn't the RNC run ads featuring the speeches from the convention? Those speeches really fired up the electorate, and should be used in ads.
But did this statement show up in any Miami newspapers or was it just a friendly letter to the RNC?
The Jews better get their heads out of their butts and figure out that the Rats do not have their best interests at heart. If they vote for the Rats and Kerry wins, I hope that they get what they asked for.
Senator Joe Lieberman said something similar when he was in Florida, ostensibly to campaign for Kerry.
He said that President Bush had an excellent record of accomplishment in his support for Israel. He said that Kerry needed to re-examine his own positions.
Are these statements in some sort of code?
BUMP!
