KERRY/EDWARDS CAMPAIGN PREPARING CAMPAIGN AD ON MISSING EXPLOSIVES
**Exclusive**
:30 spot called "obligation"
JOHN KERRY: "The obligation of a Commander in Chief is to keep our country safe. In Iraq, George Bush has overextended our troops..."
JOHN KERRY: "...and now failed to secure 380 tons of deadly explosives."
JOHN KERRY: "The kind used for attacks in Iraq, and for terrorist bombings."
JOHN KERRY: "His Iraq misjudgments put our soldiers at risk, and make our country less secure. And all he offers is more of the same. As President, I'll bring a fresh start to protect our troops and our nation. I'm John Kerry and I approved this message.
Developing...
ROFL!!
Well, I'll be /surprised!
Clintonista Mike McCurry!
Hillary's not taking any chances, she wants to run in '08!
Kerry, you moron! Haven't you seen our list of Clinton victims?
Nah, just a "story malfunction".
In sincerity, Don Hewitt, Leslie Moonves, Rather, Reasoner, Bradley, Stahl, Wallace, and the rest should be sent to the nearest street corner where they can panhandle for lies instead of wasting Viacom's money.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't these explosives discovered missing when we invaded Iraq a year and a half ago?
and sending every article related to the explosives to all my contacts and asking them to send to all of THEIR contacts. I simply sent the page, not the link, that way they will read it!!!
What irony...Kerry was the one accusing our Prez of living in a fantasy world but it is clear the Kerry "machine" is the illusion creator...
I would love the response ad to be...
"John Kerry and his friends at the New York Times and 60 Minutes will stop at nothing to defeat President Bush... even if it means forsaking the sacred trust between journalists and the American people. Thanks to patriots across the nation, Dan Rather's memogate was shown to be nothing more than a Kerry campaign fraud... and now? The New York Times and 60 minutes conspire to lie about our troops in Iraq and their failure to secure munitions that were long gone before their arrival according to an NBC reporter who was there at the time. John Kerry... tell any lie... win at any cost..."
Any Freeper with an Idea on how to get this ad done?
People need to see UN <-> NY Times <-> CBS <-> UN relation. If these dots aren't connected, Kerry will be able to easily spin out of this and the ONLY damage done is to Bush.
Just called and sent this via email to the following addresses at the NYT:
executive-editor@nytimes.com
managing-editor@nytimes.com
public@nytimes.com
Yet he was elected, regardless of the circumstances. If you have confidence in this electorate to have the best interest of the country at heart, to fully understand the issues and the consequences, then more power to you.
Bush could get on offense over this issue by stating the facts. Then say Kerry is trying to make our troops look incompetent. That seems to be what Kerry is doing.
Then call on Kerry to "stop the lying." I think it would resonate.
amen man - truer words could not have been more spoken. do not rest till nov 3! the future is at stake!!!
I am with you on this one. The President needs to find a way to work this into his campaign and NOW.
No, I'm not. The arrogance of the MSM and the Democrats has outraged me. If they steal this election, I plan to do something about it. What that is, I have no clue. It won't be violent if that is your concern.
Or, I could just sit on my butt and ask people if they are OK.
If anyone will take the ball and run with it... NBC or FOX is the only hope.
Hmmmm, let me see. :-) Actually, the obvious crossed my mind, but I also wondered if the media and VNS were simply laying off exit polls, having screwed up 2000 so badly.
Even if my speculation is correct, though, I'm sure the campaigns are still conducting them.
Rush is covering the planned ad now...he has the transcript of the ad.
I will. What do you have in mind?
We will Russ. We will. Or as Joe Lockhart would say, You will, uh, Russ, you, uh, will.
Baloney, an aggressive Bush campaign and RNC can not only easily countered this latest lie but turn it into backfire against Kerry and the media.
However the real question is whether our 'genius' Karl Rove will continue to play prevent defense and let all these easily refuted Dem/media lies go pretty much unchallenged in ads and mainstream outlets(where the independents can be reached) or finally actually fight back in a manner that can be heard. Prevent defense usually leads to a loss, and this race should have never been this close with such an inferior Dem candidate.
Thankfully the grass roots volunteers(at least here in Texas) ARE informed and are fighting this on the ground. Next week we'll find out if that is enough.
