I AM THROUGH WITH OREILLY!

Posted on 10/26/2004 9:41:38 AM PDT by 7thson

Bill,

After I transmit this letter, I will unsubscribe as a premium member. First, there is no reason for you to do a "interview" with a candidate that refuses to come on your program. I do not watch for fairness, I watch for facts. The facts are Senator Kerry has proven - through his record - to be against the interests of the United States time and time again. Instead of pointing this out to your viewers, you give him a pass and attack those who attempt to point out Senator Kerry's record. Also, your sexual harassment lawsuit is too much for me to take, especially when you have a book attempting to discuss morals with children. Your statement in the book about doing the smart thing not the right thing shows me how you view life. To you, it seems a matter of getting over and pulling a fast one.

It's been nice Bill, but you have deserted those who brought you to your current station in life. I do not need someone of your low morals to look after me.

- - -

Bill O'Reilly has deserted his core audience with lame attempts at being "fair." We want facts not fairness. Present the facts and we will make up our own minds. Your blatant attempt to be "fair" to someone such as Senator Kerry is sickening. Since he refused to come on your program, you should not have broadcast an fake interview. You do not do that with other's who refuse to come on your program so why with him? The second reason is this sexual harassment lawsuit. Due to my investigation - you see, I do not need you to investigate stories for me, I can do that myself - I have determined that you were somewhat remiss in your actions. Even Billy Graham - starting from the 50's - knew enough to not be alone with a woman other than his wife at any time. I feel sorry for your wife and kids as you have hurt them. But I cannot watch or support anyone that does not have the interests of the United States at heart but is a slave to ratings.

When you're through with "all caps," can you post it to Breaking News?

Why don't you hang around for more than a month before you start preaching to longtime FReepers about posting guidelines.

I'm sorry your hero O'Really is having a bad month, but this ain't his fan club.

And WTF "all caps" are you talking about.

Sorry, but I no longer even watch O'Reilly on FOX after watching how he came out in favor of homosexual "unions" after all of his ranting on the Catholic Priest Scandal.

Bill appeared not to be able to connect the dots between Priests molesting young males left in their care and homosexuals in general - it's an abberant lifestyle Bill, not a just a coverup by some in the Catholic Church!

Would that more people out there quit trying to sound pc in their acceptance of sexual deviants as "an alternative lifestyle" and admit that males or females who desire their own sex are not normal in their desires and should, at the very least, be forced to leave young adolescents and children alone or face what was once a very undesireable existence in prison.

O'Reilly seems to be angling for something- like a network anchor or something. He has become a parody of himself. I cannot stand him any more either.

his EGO is soooo bruised over kerry not showing up. he faked an interview w/ him last night with 2 IDIOTS who are NOT running for office and all of us could give a damn how 'they' would handle iraq, etc.

o'reilly is a panderer to the nth degree...he wouldn't call dan rather a spade during the cbs debachle because why? I'll tell you why...he was about to be interviewed on 60 minutes.

he really makes me sick and it brings to mind, clearly, the statement...if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.

I watched the O'Reilly factor last night and he was pretty much in Bush's column. He did nothing but rap on Kerry last night. I was suprised. I guess he was upset that Kerry didn't do an interview with him. Stood him up.

His radio show is another story. BARF.

Never really got into O'Really, but was given his first book and read it. I can absolutely believe he'd do everything he's accused of in the lawsuit. The higher up the ladder you go in TV news, the more common that kind of behavior gets...especially with the uber-ego types, which he fits. The only injured parties are his wife & family.

The way he treated the Swift Boat Vets ended it for me. Bill praised a guy who trashed the military, and then spits on the rest of the vets that were with him that have a different take on the way things occurred.

In the Spring of 2003, I broke a vow and returned to watching televsion for the news...but only Fox. For a while, I watched O'Reilly. At first, there was something spellbinding about his show and his manner. But soon it became clear that Bill O'Reilly was interested only in promoting Bill O'Reilly. His voice and face became one long disgusting commercial about himself.
It's time for all conservatives to pull the plug on the guy. Maybe he can sell used cars somewhere, but not in my house.

His handling of the Swiftvets was enough to reduce O'reilly to Leprechaun status in my mind.
The "interview" thing last nite was awful and silly had to turn it immediately.
O'Reilly =the Irish Homer Simpson

Actually, O'Reilly's shows on FOX and his radio (flop) are only about Bill, period.

I'd never give him the time of day, considering how quickly he dismissed the SwiftBoat guys.

He is just another liberal shill hired to help FOX keep it's "Fair and Balanced" promo, IMHO.

No, he has only attacked the Swifties from the beginning on the "Zone" and on the "Radio Factor".

Well done. O'R's moral compass is broken and he knows it.

He has done everything for months to get Kerry on his program with the exception of going down on him in public. Kerry brushed him off. Well, others have brushed him BO off as well but we are not subjected to an ersatz interview with everyone who refuses to come on his program. Somehow I think BO believes that having a President Bush interview without a Senator Kerry interview is not "fair" to the Senator. That is BS!

Also, by listening to other venue's we on FR know Senator Kerry's record. Yet, BO keeps refering to him as a patriot. That is also BS! The Senator is a lying dog that would sell his mother - which in essence he did when he sullied her name and memory during the last debate - to gain a political edge. I agree with Ann Coulter when she wrote not long ago that BO would be the only individual to present the Jewish argument and the Nazi argument during the Warsaw Uprising in a lame effort to be "fair." There are times when you have to take a side and he refuses to do so on important issues.

I still don't understand what was in the show last night that was so upsetting. What exactly happened in this "interview?"
Someone please summarize for those of us who didn't catch it.

I am going to do more reading. I have about 20 pages left in his latest book - I bought it before the sexual harassment charge - and then I will start Tommy Franks book and Ann Coulter's latest. I also have to finish the Roland series by King and then I am through with him too. Dean Koontz has a new one coming out for Christmas.

It seems recently - the last several months - he is recycling the same guests on. Tony Snow, Dick Morris, Newt Gingrich. I have come to the conclusion that not many want to appear on the Factor anymore.

Not only that but he let Holbrooke take more time than Meese did even though he said Holbrooke would have the same amount of time.

If there's anyone left who watches O'Blowhard and you feel the need to send him an email about his program, you may also want to send a copy to Roger Ailes. He may be interested in hearing from you!
