I AM THROUGH WITH OREILLY!

Posted on 10/26/2004 9:41:38 AM PDT by 7thson

Bill,

After I transmit this letter, I will unsubscribe as a premium member. First, there is no reason for you to do a "interview" with a candidate that refuses to come on your program. I do not watch for fairness, I watch for facts. The facts are Senator Kerry has proven - through his record - to be against the interests of the United States time and time again. Instead of pointing this out to your viewers, you give him a pass and attack those who attempt to point out Senator Kerry's record. Also, your sexual harassment lawsuit is too much for me to take, especially when you have a book attempting to discuss morals with children. Your statement in the book about doing the smart thing not the right thing shows me how you view life. To you, it seems a matter of getting over and pulling a fast one.

It's been nice Bill, but you have deserted those who brought you to your current station in life. I do not need someone of your low morals to look after me.

- - -

Bill O'Reilly has deserted his core audience with lame attempts at being "fair." We want facts not fairness. Present the facts and we will make up our own minds. Your blatant attempt to be "fair" to someone such as Senator Kerry is sickening. Since he refused to come on your program, you should not have broadcast an fake interview. You do not do that with other's who refuse to come on your program so why with him? The second reason is this sexual harassment lawsuit. Due to my investigation - you see, I do not need you to investigate stories for me, I can do that myself - I have determined that you were somewhat remiss in your actions. Even Billy Graham - starting from the 50's - knew enough to not be alone with a woman other than his wife at any time. I feel sorry for your wife and kids as you have hurt them. But I cannot watch or support anyone that does not have the interests of the United States at heart but is a slave to ratings.

When you're through with "all caps," can you post it to Breaking News?

Couldn't agree more.

I have noticed recently(since Laura Ingraham got in his face with the truth about his phony "no spin" and "independent" show,) that O'Reilly has tempered his one-sided, left-leaning proclivities somewhat, BUT, not to the point of presenting facts and truth and allowing viewers to sort it out. (Phew!...nasty run-on sentence there.)

People need to realize something. Unlike the network viewership statistics which are arrived through statistical polling estimates, cable ratings are arrived at by data accumulated from the cable companies. Newer digital boxes relay information about what channels people are watching (not necessarily an invasion of privacy, because no one is looking at you. Just the numbers). Previously, cable companies could estimate which channels were getting the most viewers by measuring signal drain (they had to do that anyway, in order to compensate for signal loss).

So, what I am trying to say is that Orielly is going to hurt himself by loss of viewership ratings over time. If you don't like him anymore, turn the show off and you wont be supporting him anymore.

I thought that forum last night sucked, too. Kerry went on Chris Matthews, Katie Couric and O'Reilly was refused. In that case I would think he falls in the same category as Howard Dean and deserved the same scorn ... not giving his talking-heads a forum to spew his crap.

Well, you caught me there. I did a piss-poor job of proofing. I recall hearing Rush talk about feeling and thinking some years back and agreed. When I write something I attempt to edit words or phrases that have feelings in it. Let me rewrite this as based upon what I have heard, read, and what little I know of BO based upon observation, I think that he is somewhat guilty.

I am glad you caught that.

The Karma Police rewarded O'Reilly's betrayal with a sexual harassment suit, ridicule and scorn from the MSM.

You reap what you sow O'Reilly.

Bill O'Reilly("BO") is a puffed up gasbag with no manners.

He "jumped the shark" long ago.

So long, Bill, it's been nice to to yea.

I missed this. Did O'Reilly ask ANYTHING about why Jean Francois enjoys such a low standing among his fellow officers in the Swift Boat unit?

Just sorry it took you so long to realize what o'rieleee really is. He had that smart ass attitude with people and pointed his finger at them and sometimes two fingers. His expression is supposed to be tough too which didn't impress us. He's a blowhard. He's a shameful twit.

I remember Arnell who used to be on his show one time said something and o'rileee said: "Now you're tickin' me off!" Arnell looked at him and said: "Oh really?" Soon after that she departed his show to go to California.

O'reileee is arrogant, pompous and I will b e interested in seeing how this harassment suit comes out. Where there is smoke there is fire.

Congratulations on your wise decision!!!!
