However, I am not going to read it. I'll wait until after the election because this is yet another maddening, infuriating, just plain stupid example of the Republican Party leaving powerful ammunition in the box, while Kerry pirouettes around the country uttering one ridiculous farouche after another, with no counter. Now, Clinton is in on it, with "Herbert Hoover" references.
Once again we have the spectre of the reasonably intelligent backing the Stupid Party, while the Evil Party lies to the stupid, of whom there are more than enough to carry this election out of Bush's hands. That Kerry is a liar of monumental, Baron von Munchausen proportions is pretty clear.
After election day, I'll be happy to read Kerry's FBI files. But the fact that I am hearing this from you and not the RNC, Karl Rove, and the Republican candidate is very upsetting.
I fear even if the Repubs were to bring up this issue (maybe using ads) no one would believe it. It is so scary that it would be dismissed as a desperation tactic by Bush. And of course if it's not in the New York Times, or on CNN, it can't be real, can it? That is the attitude of far too many gullible Americans. So this is what we are faced with as a potential president. He makes Clinton look like a true patriot.
However, if I were Rove and Gillespie I would get an attack over this issue ready to go NOW. If Kerry and the Dems pull any last minute sleaze I say we fire back even harder.

Some experts don't seem to disagree that copying is plagiarism: "A former English professor and author of two books on plagiarism, Robert Harris, examined that example and others and concluded that many of the instances clearly constituted plagiarism." A liar is a liar is a liar, and Kerry's lies are mounting higher and higher and higher. [1] From his 50-some retellings of his Christmas in Cambodia -- which he finally had to admit never occurred, [2] to his claiming in an early campaign ad that he cast the deciding vote for Clinton's 1993 Economics package (Bob KerrEy, not John, cast that deciding vote) [Kerry concluded the ad with "I am John Kerry and I approved this ad", [3] to his claiming on his official website that he was Vice-Chairman of the Senate Intel Committee (again, Bob KerrEy, not John, was Vice-Chair -- maybe John thinks he is Bob????), John's lies and fabrications list grows and grows. Kerry gave an interview to Rolling Stones magazine. In it, he said he wanted his Presidency to be remembered as one of truth. Hmmmm, so when does the truth start, John? |
