So wait, I'm confused...does this mean Bush lied? No wait, he didn't cuz they were there, but they got lost before we got to Iraq cuz Bush is incompitent in dealing with the WMDs he lied about originally...and...ummm...lied...Bush...Haliburton...Carlyle...DUI...

*head explodes*

"Why is DAN RATHER not fired?"

Don't hold your breath. Most people at CBS feel exactly like Rather does about Bush. They feel sorry for him and will never fire him in a million years. Heck, they haven't even fired Mapes, that sorry excuse for a human that pushed the story. CBS no longer even feigns objectivity.

Whats funny is liberals can't understand why FOX hasn't fired O'Reilly. They have even less of a clue than you.

What is the difference between WMD and powerful conventional explosives?

Actually, as I understand these were very special explosives. Very little reason to make them for normal munitions, as they are quite expensive in comparison. They are for use in radiological environments, like in nuclear warheads, so the nuclear material won't prematurely detonate the explosives and ruin the warhead.

So....350 tons has disappeared and cannot be found? Let's see...maybe it never existed, like the much smaller 25 tons of Anthrax and the 100 tons of nerve gas. :)

This year, thanks to FREEPERS, they might have to delay that to FRIDAY and pray it sticks

With the luck they are having, it would still be dead by 2:00 AM, Saturday morning

We are living in the most remarkable time where we everyday citizens are able to expose the MSM's attempts to:

*influence an election;
*in perilous times, put our soldiers at risk and make them objects of ridicule for perceived incompetence
*openly collude with a political party (CBS>Lockhart) to influence an election
*broadcast a story based on forgeries

The frightening aspect to this is, how often were the MSM able to get away with this?

We are members of the new check and balance system to the MSM. Afforded us through technology (Internet) and rise of talk radio and cable news we are able to instantly refute, investigate and check their supposed facts.

Happy to be aligned with the new check and balance system of Free Republic, Rush, Hannity, Drudge, FOX news, et al.

Thank you for the pings!

Mohamed El Baradei's report to the UN security council

February 13, 2003:

"We have also continued to investigate the relocation and consumption of the high explosive HMX. As I reported earlier, Iraq has declared that 32 tonnes of the HMX previously under IAEA seal had been transferred for use in the production of industrial explosives, primarily to cement plants as a booster for explosives used in
quarrying."

"Iraq has provided us with additional information, including documentation on the movement and use of this material, and inspections have been conducted at locations where the material is said to have been used. However, given the nature of the use of high explosives, it may well be that the IAEA will be unable to reach a final conclusion on the end use of this material. While we have no indication that this material was used for any application other than that declared by Iraq, we have no technical method of verifying, quantitatively, the declared use of the material in explosions. We will continue to follow this issue through a review of civilian mining practices in Iraq and through interviews of key Iraqi personnel involved in former relevant research and development activities."

Win, lose, or draw, not one CBS or NYT reporter should ever be called on by President Bush or his press secretary during a news conference or briefing. EVER!

The Swiftees, unfortunately, are past their prime in terms of effectiveness now. The peaked about a month ago. We need to hit on this piece of garbage the MSM is putting out about the "missing weapons" big time.

I'm sick of this lying. Need to expose these frauds.

good question: "where is GOP's October surprise?"

Now is the time for the major GOP players and all the conservative talking heads, all in unison, demand Kerry's records. All at the same time: "Senator Kerry, why won't you release your records?" and "Senator Kerry, what will your records reveal and what are you hiding from the American People?"
