KERRY SPOT
Jim Miklaszewski of NBC News pretty much dismantled the New York Times attack on behalf of Kerry today.
NBC News: Miklaszewski: April 10, 2003, only three weeks into the war, NBC News was embedded with troops from the Army's 101st Airborne as they temporarily take over the Al Qakaa weapons installation south of Baghdad. But these troops never found the nearly 380 tons of some of the most powerful conventional explosives, called HMX and RDX, which is now missing. The U.S. troops did find large stockpiles of more conventional weapons, but no HMX or RDX, so powerful less than a pound brought down Pan Am 103 in 1988, and can be used to trigger a nuclear weapon. In a letter this month, the Iraqi interim government told the International Atomic Energy Agency the high explosives were lost to theft and looting due to lack of security. Critics claim there were simply not enough U.S. troops to guard hundreds of weapons stockpiles, weapons now being used by insurgents and terrorists to wage a guerrilla war in Iraq. (NBCs Nightly News, 10/25/04)
If Jill Abramson, managing editor of the New York Times, had a shred of concern over her paper's reputation for getting the facts right never mind objectivity or fairness, she would be running the correction - or at least this blatantly contradictory information - in the giant headline font and above-the-fold location that today's story got. But I guess the interest in echoing the sentiments of Maureen Dowd is more important than getting it right at the Old Gray Lady.
I was wondering about Brit tonight also, I know that for the last few weeks he has seemed to lean more middle to left than before - I thought it was the memo that O'Relly mentioned. But, tonight he seemed to really just hammer Kerry's side with the panel. It was way disappointing to see him "flip" like this.
"What took Matt so long, LOL."
Perhaps Matts pretty damn good at rope a dope himself
HAH! The Democrat October Surprise backfires. Poetic justice. Back to the drawing board Punk.
Yay Drudge for giving it the red light special!
YES!!!!!!!
either that or the bribes
Yeah. So can dynamite.
So can a boxcutter...
this is just day 1 in the DNC sponsored MSM October Surprise flood. Expect 2-3 recycled "bombshells" (pardon the pun) until election.
Yup. Nice of NBC to mention it, but Rush got there first.
Yes, they ran this tonight.
and what, pray tell, happened - AGAIN - to the story , complete with an hour of video, on Kerry's involvement with the KLA terrorist group - $500+ million changing hands, Holbrooke, Clarke on the tape and saying Madame Halfbright,is with them too they mention Kerry many times - they're at Kerry hdgrs in Boston ,,,???
This is treason , pure and simple. the KLA is a listed terrorist organization - ...on the tape they talk about attacking th Un and US troops in Kosovo...
Why does this keep getting spiked?
Maybe a good time for NBC to get it? LOL
I have to hand it to the Democrats, they have their timing down.
Don't be upset with Brit..he was playing good cop, bad cop for you to draw your own conclusion. He's highly intelligent and wise to "play out" Kerry's motives. Ergo; Brit stripped him naked.
Rush said on his program that this was old news the Slimes is rehashing
This is really going to be funny on talk radio tomorrow. The Kerry campaign will be put on the defensive and so will MSM. Another win for Bush and another nail in the coffin for Kerry.
BTTT
There are times, when toilet paper has it's worth, like when you have to go use the toilet.
Not Karl Rove.
That's why Katie Couric threw a breaking ball to sKerry this morning...when she implied "Pot Kettle Black".
Poor sKerry is fed his speech material and his information is completely false.
I smell Lockhart[Hillary]
/remove tin hat
