Watch Part I of Sean's interview with President Bush tonight at 9 p.m. ET!
Monday, October 25, 2004 - "Hannity & Colmes" - Fox News Channel
In his interview with Sean, which took place in St. Petersburg, Florida, the president declares that whether or not we can be ever fully safe is up in the air.
The President also tells Sean the following:
That terrorist groups have hijacked their religion to justify their killing
Afghanistan is a society that has gone from darkness to light because freedom is on the march
That a person in public life should never try to impose religion on anybody and that faith is a personal matter.
Other topics the President addresses in this wide-ranging interview include Democratic Presidential candidate Senator John Kerrys tax plans, social security plans, attacks on him from prominent democrats; Teresa Heinz Kerrys comments about Laura Bush and Kerrys remark about Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter Mary Cheney, his pledge not to bring back the draft during his presidency and his thoughts on the three presidential debates.

That was good.
The president sounds good.
If gulf war 1 wont pass the global test with skerry, nothing will!
Finally some sanity. Leaving for a bit so I can get as close as I can to the TV screen.
Heard today he's just doing one more commercial before the election . . . a 'longer' one, just him, talking to the camera, doesn't even mention Kerry.
I think he's going to say, "I will keep you safe." and that's going to clinch it (God willing)
VERY good strategy, IMHO.
Doesn't pay attention to polls, only to the people. Great response.
He sounds psyched and confident as usual, and that energy flows down into the base.
Remind the seniors he got elected and they got their checks. He he.
If you have nothing positive to say, cloudy vision of future, all have to resort to is scaring people.
Volunteer army works because we support troops. better housings, pay raises, better medical care.
S.S. said the same thing in 2000. Got elected and seniors got checks. Let younger workers take some payroll taxes and invest. All seniors can stay in the system. babyb boomers fine.
I was listening to a CD and missed 3 minutes, even though I already had Hannity and Colmes on
Sean: Do you think he (Kerry) knows he's not telling the truth?
LOLOLOL
"Politics of the past"...That about sums it up for Kerry.
Great picture-THANKS!
Comment about Laura, and Mary Cheney. Prez is biting him lip, and says "his comment was over the line".
President George W. Bush and Laura Bush walk across the tarmac to Air Force One before departing Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colo., Monday, Oct. 25, 2004.
him=his
o you think Kerry knows he isn't telling the truth?
G.W.-not sure. Politics of the past. S.S. issue is helping G.W. Americans know it is a problem and he's willing to address it.
Kerry's comment was over the line (mary Cheney). One thing to have daughters campaigning, another to have them ridiculed. Most of the time G.W.'s daughters have been treated well, for which he's grateful
Reflected difference-T's comment about laura. Old mindset.
He's smiling about Teraayyzzaaa's comment about Laura, but I bet he was MAJORLY PISSED when it happened.
"Vital contribution"--that's me!!!! And all the other moms out there, whether they work at home or out of their homes.
Dick Morris to talk about if Clintoon is going to hurt or help Kerry . . . I'm betting he and Gore will HURT him. Too bad, so sad.
good interview so far.
