I was checking our website statistics for Thursday, October 21st when I noticed a sudden spike in people visiting our website. Out of curiosity, I followed the source of the hits to this website where I saw that someone had posted a picture of our Polled Hereford Bull weathervane design.
For obvious reasons our website is non-partisan. However, for those of you strong political preferences, we do offer several weathervane designs that may be of interest:
American Bald Eagle weathervane
The Elephant, symbol of Republican Party
And, to be balanced, The Donkey, symbol of the Democratic Party
Id also like to add how impressed I was by the scope of the readership for The Free Republics website. As a result of Hobsons post last Thursday, we received 651 visits to our website in a single day! This is more than double the number of visits we have received when references to our weathervanes have been posted on other websites. In case anyone is interested we do offer over 500 different handcrafted, made in the USA, custom copper weathervane designs. If you'd like to learn more about this most American of American folk art traditions, here is a link that will take you there: West Coast Weather Vanes
You can post, but you can't LINK..
Someone didn't read the terms of service...
Do you have a John Kerry weathervane?
Nice work y'all do.
Ah, a non-partisan capitalist-person!
I'll have to check out that elephant.
can you make a John Kerry one?

The eagle is cool.
See, true craftsmen charge a lot.
What a lot of work would go into that, but its beautiful.
Now, Fierce Allegiance. I know you can't afford it because of this rotten, Bush economy. You must be one of those people affected by the worse economic policy in 72 years. I'm so sorry. :) Denote sarcasm.
Hey, here's the guy who does the weathervanes you got the hereford bull pic from.
You forgot a Kerry weathervane, which can point in two directions at the same time.
See post #14.
Sorry about double posting to you. I agree it's beautiful, and I don't doubt it is a fair price given the work and skill to required craft it.
A long time ago, a former NYC mayor whose name escapes me said a white elephant for a nickel would be a great deal, but only if you had a nickle to spare and a need for a white elephant.
I would love to have one regardless.
"You forgot a Kerry weathervane, which can point in two directions at the same time."
Are you suggesting it has an Arrow tip on both ends? :)
In actuality, I am far bettter off than I was during X42's reign. Just part scottish and tight with a buck when necessary.
Nice work Mr. Craftsperson...we'll work on you about that non-partisan thing.:o) My favorite bumpersticker during this election is: "Another Democrat for Bush". Good luck with your beautiful weathervanes...and don't forget to Vote on Nov. 2nd.
