The fact that Zarqawi is going so hard after Iraqi police and Iraqi soldiers tells me that President Bush's plan is working - the Iraqi police and Iraqi soldiers are attempting to secure Liberty in their own nation.
I hope the Iraqi people will be like the Scots under the thumb of Edward I and only become more enraged and more demanding of freedom each time Zarqawi's hammer falls.
I saw the photo in post #1 and immediately thought of you. A Muslim father walking his Muslim son to school - I'm sure you hope they'll be killed soon.
Arm the new recruits, they should have never filled a bus unarmed. There has to be a way to identify legitimate police too. But ultimately they are going to have to find and purge (kill) the traitors in their ranks somehow.
I sure wish one piece of the vetting process of Iraqi recruits was a lie detector... and/or truth serum under heavy interrogation... BEFORE they are allowed to join up.
