Is that a Stryker in the pic? Looks like it, but I did not think the turret was that big.

The fact that Zarqawi is going so hard after Iraqi police and Iraqi soldiers tells me that President Bush's plan is working - the Iraqi police and Iraqi soldiers are attempting to secure Liberty in their own nation.

I hope the Iraqi people will be like the Scots under the thumb of Edward I and only become more enraged and more demanding of freedom each time Zarqawi's hammer falls.

I saw the photo in post #1 and immediately thought of you. A Muslim father walking his Muslim son to school - I'm sure you hope they'll be killed soon.

"Some accounts by police said the rebels were dressed in Iraqi military uniforms. The insurgents forced many of the soldiers to lie down on the ground and then shot them in the head, officials said Sunday."

Arm the new recruits, they should have never filled a bus unarmed. There has to be a way to identify legitimate police too. But ultimately they are going to have to find and purge (kill) the traitors in their ranks somehow.

I sure wish one piece of the vetting process of Iraqi recruits was a lie detector... and/or truth serum under heavy interrogation... BEFORE they are allowed to join up.
