You shoulld read HUMAN EVENTS which had a great interview with Linkletter a couple of months back. His USA Next is the conservative alternative to AARP.
Linkletter has had a great life, is very much alive, and is as likeable as ever. He has real star quality, real personality, and can still run rings around most of today's younger talk show hosts.

I saw an ad this morning with Linkletter touting the new Medicare card. It was non-political and well done.

To Art Linkletter, 87, the longtime entertainer, writer and now motivational speaker, getting old is nothing to complain about. The aging process is just another trail to navigate among many ups and downs in life. (Peter Diana, Post-Gazette) |

You've confused Art Linkletter with Monte Hall.
BTW Art rocks.

Art Linkletter is still alive?!?!?!?!!!! The Bush campaign heard what John Edwards had to say about Kerry's powers over the paralyzed, like Christopher Reeve. Their response was to resurrect Mr. Linkletter.

Art who?? Ask your parents, young man. Then ask them who Gary Moore was. Also, Dave Garraway, Charlie Weaver, John Cameron Swayze, and Mike Douglas.

I just heard the ad. It's awesome.
Now if someone could work on an ad about how you shouldn't listen to scaremongering directed at the youth vote or african-americans that would be great.

Art Linkletter was a good friend of Ronald Reagan back in the early television days. They both worked on the live broadcast of the opening of Disneyland in 1955. It's worth hunting down on DVD.
