This is not "shocking", the Courant endorsed Bush in 2000 and CT is after all, a state that lost many citizens to the islamofascists on 9/11.

And let's not forget W's grampa Prescott was a U.S senator from CT

Question for NY State Freepers-
(especially those in close proximity attack on WTC)

Polls aside, what is are your personal observations regarding the Presidential election. I find it so hard to believe that those who witnessed the horror that day and lived in the physical aftermath would vote for John Kerry. It is something my mind just cannot comprehend.

I would think that they, of all people, would get it. It is the "War on Terror, Stupid."

Clinton reminded me of a child playing "Don't Cross This Line" with Saddam.

bubba: (drawing a line in the sand with his foot) Don't cross this line:

Saddam steps over the line.

bubba: (stepping back) Don't cross this line:

Saddam steps over the line.

bubba: (stepping back) Don't cross this line:

Saddam steps over the line.

And on and on and on and on.

And futhermore, some hungry, enterprising reporter should ask Kerry point blank:

"Senator Kerry, In his final days President Clinton offered clemency to 16 Puerto Rican nationalists affiliated with the FALN. Did you support that decision?"

There is nothing to support the claim that the dems would deal with terrorism head on. I remind those voting for Kerry of the remarks from a large portion of his base (those he will be listening to) that the men we regard as cold-blooded murderes are freedom fighters to others.

But then, brain dead is brain dead. All that matters is that kerry is offering empty promises to take care of them.

Disapproval of Puerto Rican Nationals Clemency-Passage (Complete Information) Senator John Forbes Kerry voted YES.

S J Res 33: A joint resolution deploring the actions of President Clinton regarding granting clemency to FALN terrorists.

Vote on a joint resolution stating that President Clinton should not have given clemency to members of a Puerto Rican independence group who were convicted of seditious conspiracy against the United States.

You answered your "Polls aside, what is are your personal observations regarding the Presidential election. I find it so hard to believe that those who witnessed the horror that day and lived in the physical aftermath would vote for John Kerry. It is something my mind just cannot comprehend. "

WITH

"But then, brain dead is brain dead. All that matters is that kerry is offering empty promises to take care of them."

Besides, I find most all liberal voters are NOT well thought out voters, they can't really defend their positions, and their support for kerry is very shallow.

When questioned further they start spazzing, and consider you "hateful" lol It's sad really, but I keep hoping some neuron fires in some of them when they realize they can't back up what they say.

When was the last time the Courant endorsed a Republican candidate for President? Do you know?

The Hartford Courant has a long history of backing the Republican candidate for President. They endorsed Bush in 2000. The only Democratic candidate for President ever endorsed by the Courant was Bill Clinton.

This is just cover to balance their biased coverage of W. They are an LA Slime quintessential left-wing echo-chamber blather-spewing fishwrapper from way back. That being said, maybe it will change a few minds.

Go W!

The only Democratic candidate for President ever endorsed by the Courant was Bill Clinton.

I'll be damned!

The publisher, then, must be in the habit of overruling the editorial department on presidential endorsements. Because the Courant's reporting seems to be of the same ilk as the Times and Globe.
