Listen up, FReepers. (give me a moment with the folks, mods?)
Posted on 10/24/2004 7:53:49 PM PDT by Pukin Dog
We have got to stop meeting like this.
But, there is a post that has generated some 500 responses on a complete NON-ISSUE. We are all keyed up, waiting for this election to be over, but lets not lose our minds.
We are falling for a trap that has been set months ago. Many trolls have infiltrated this board, and they intend to do all they can to demoralize you, with postings of gloom and doom in response to what they see in the media. Some FReepers naturally respond in kind with negative comments about Bush and his team.
You can all help each other out by being a little less emotional and a LOT more skeptical about what you are going to see in the MSM next week. Most of it will be for the direct purpose of making you feel hopeless enough not to go to the polls. There have been two news items posted just today that are completely false stories, then we get the Drudge thing about an old story that actually helps Bush more than it hurts him.
What happens is that the Left reads your responses and uses them against you. You can expect to see stories about "Depressed Republicans" or "Republicans Have Lost Faith" or some other crap like that in the news this week. Pay no attention to it. Bush's internal polls suggest that if we turn out to vote, there is NO WAY HE CAN LOSE THIS ELECTION.
The LEFT knows this, and they are doing all they can to scare you, anger you, and do anything else that they can do to convince you that it is a waste of time for you to go to the polls.
We know their game, yet we fall for it over and over again. Do yourself a favor and turn off Chris Matthews. Turn off MSNBC, ABC, CNN and the rest, and on Election Day, get your ass to the polls and shove your vote right up their ass. This election is ours to win, so dont be swayed by negativity. Get out there and win this one for your country!

I'll drink to that! We can't get down or anything, we must crawl over broken glass to re-relect Dubya. From what my father told me, his father was among the first to hit Normandy, if he and a lot of others had the guts to do that, the least we can do is to vote and shove it up the Democrats and FrankenKerry's clymers! WE must not lose focus! LOSING IS NOT AN OPTION! We must not let the White House fall under the auspices of a Communist Traitor and his stoned old lady! Make those liberal pukes squeal like little piggies! We are at a crossroads in history. As Dylan Thomas (1914-53) said, "we will not go quietly into the night!" The battle is nigh and we all have to fight. Do we want to live in a country that is like "Holland on steroids?!" Heck no! I want the old America my parents and grandparents presented to me. I am 38, I vaguely remember the hippies and what they did to our country as they spit on our servicemen, heck, I'd like to kick one in the butt and say, "thanks for ripping away my country from me!" We need to restore America. We are being tested by God during these trying times and we must not fail. President Bush is a man, not perfect, none of us are, we are all sinners, but he is a far better and moral man than FrankenKerry.
Dang, I'm so charged up, I should have been either a talkshow host (Michael Savage style) or a fiery preacher. B-) I missed my calling I guess, still though we are at a point in history, either we must fight the forces of Darkness and go into the light or usher in the New Dark Age.
I know maybe I'm charged up, but it is up to each of us to do our civic and moral duty November 3rd.

I don't quite understand WHY the trolls come here. It's like a lone athiest shouting "there is no God" in the middle of the Vatican. No one takes him seriously and in the end, all believe him to be a lunatic.
This morning, I read a thread featuring a heartfelt plea from some carpetscrubber begging us, yes BEGGING us to vote sKerry because there is so much at stake. The thread was pulled faster than Santa's beard at a teen Christmas party, but what did this doofus hope to achieve?
No kidding there is a lot at stake, that is why some of us are voting for Bush, and the others are voting AGAINST sKerry. Some are doing a combination of both. Vote for the Katsup King? We might as well vote in Tokyo Rose. Berlin Betty can be veep.
So screw them. Let them waste their morning creating a bogus account, typing out a long DNC talking point thread, and wiping the Snicker bar chocolate onto their shirts in some misguided sense of satisfaction. The Viking Kitties need their ball of yarn from time to time and lord knows the FR loves a good zot strike. It's like party time in the Thunderdome and Blaster is tapping the keg.

Great post, I agree. The MSM and DUmmie trolls are making an all out last ditch effort to demoralize us, but to their chagrin it's only their death rattle that we hear.
Hat's off to the AdminMod's, they must be really busy, just take a look at the rapid change in the recent FR poll.
They can't win, their weak, so they resort to feeble and desperate tactics because they have no true core beliefs, nothing and no one to draw strength from as we do from the courage and convictions that we see GWB display every single day.

The irony is that this thread illustrates the very think he is trying to dicourage. It asserts that conservatives are so clueless, that they are susceptible to demoralization via propaganda and will stay home and fail to vote as a result.
Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me. Fortunately, I don't think like that.

This board is watched and monitored by A LOT of people, especially now that they have seen us in our 'pajamas'. I can't wait to wear the new special ones I bought for election night
The dems may have caught us a bit off guard in 2000 ... That ain't gonna happen this time

Oops, make that November 2nd. Sorry got charged up there. Oh well, I ain't perfect, none of us are, but the point is we got to get out there. I'm fired up, I even got quoted by one of the DUmmies over there. Well, they even mentioned my typo. Well, it is an error I admit but at least I will not be committing a huge error by voting for a traitor at this crucial time. Like my buddy, Lt. Col. Ollie North, put it aqt one time, "I wear their scorn as a badge of honor." (I met Ollie North at a book signing in 1991, I asked him to run for Governor of PA, he said he couldn't do it but patted me on the back and thanked me for the invitation)
My cat, G.W. "Dubya," one of my 8 Viking Kitties." B-)

This is a good thread. Those liberal loosers would just love it if we didn't. The thing about the DU'ers is that when they can't get us all freaked out, they go back to their cave and start spitting and gnawing on each other again. Sometimes it's pretty entertaining to watch. And other times, I prefer to just do laundry.
To: Pukin Dog
No way would I get near the MSM anymore. I leave the room if my hubby watches it, including Fox.
I will crawl naked over broken glass to vote for Bush/Cheney!!!
